I was frustrated by it, but kitty loves it; 5 stars for the end result.
We were excited to find a black tower for our kitty to enjoy that wouldn't look hideous in our mostly black/modern apartment living room. The very reasonable price seemed almost too good to be true, but looking at the end result a month after setting it up for the kitty, I give this tower 5 stars. At first there was some frustration, because the ikea-style directions mislabel two of the pieces, and instruct you to use the wrong piece right off the bat. We wondered why there was no bolt on the end of the first pole piece when there was a hole for a bolt to go into. Once we reached the end and had a pole with a bolt trying to match up to another piece with a bolt, we knew that first pole wasn't in the right place. Disassembled and reassembled -- not too big of a deal, but annoying. We set it up in a corner near the window so our kitty could look outside. After a few weeks, she only ever went halfway up the tower and never jumped up to the top bucket-bed piece. We figured out that you could tug on the cloth/foam walls of the bucket piece and roll the fabric under so the kitty could see the now open top platform. After putting a treat or two up there, she started using the top area regularly. She never crawls into the alcove, but she loves scratching on the posts, especially the top rope-covered post. She's not very into the dangly toys, but she likes the tower itself and when she's not on her favorite blanket, she's on the tower sleeping on the soft "kitty paw" landing or on the top tier.I can see why some buyers complain that this tower is too small for big kitties. We have an adult female who likely had kittens at a young age, which will stunt a cat's growth. She is not a large cat, and this tower fits her perfectly. If she were any bigger, I doubt she'd be as comfortable sleeping on the landings or climbing up to the top tier. Another complaint is that the tower is too wobbly. It certainly wobbles on our carpeted floor when our kitty is climbing up onto the top landing, but we made sure to securely fasten the pieces together during construction, and I don't feel that it's dangerously unstable.I definitely recommend this product to anyone with a smaller adult cat (or kitten!) who is looking for a fairly stylish tower for their kitty to enjoy.

Decent cat tree for the price and size but taller than expected (72", not 62")
Okay, first off, this is, if assembled as the picture shows, taller than 62" It is about six feet (72") But that's a bonus if you look at prices of taller cat trees.Secondly, yes, it is particle board. But it's a cat tree for under a hundred bucks. You don't buy one of these and expect ancient oak. It stands up well to an average sized cat. Although the cubby hole is only suited to a smaller cat or a kitten to lie in comfortably. Although our fat one still tries to squeeze himself in there.Okay, if you do assemble it as pictured here and on the instructions, the top level is rather wobbly and unstable for bigger cats. It's also rather difficult to access with the high walls. Luckily, you have options. I switched the paw shaped platform and the walled bed so it's easier to get onto. We have a ledge around the wall of our place so they can walk on that to get there or just belly flop and pull themselves up. As it is, they all fight over the high spot. It's entertaining to watch them try to urge one another out so they can take it over.As for the wobble, I used some heavy duty big zip ties and anchored it to the wall in a couple spots so it's pretty stable. But, if that's not an option you could always put the top platform down where the toy is and put the toy on top. This is an idea that's not my own, just one I'm repeating from several others here. The faux fur is just that. For the price you don't expect real mink or rabbit fur. It is soft and our cats love to curl up and snuggle it. I've even caught one of them suckling and kneading it when he didn't think anyone was looking. The carpeting wrapping the poles is okay. Ours prefer the rope wrapped poles to scratch on but they're starting to use the carpet a little. One of the good things about this tree though is the small amount of floor space it takes up. I mean anyone who has bought or shopped for cat trees knows they can get pretty darn huge. but this one is less than 2' x 2' which is great for those with limited space.Overall, this is a decent cat tree for the price. It's not the best one I've had but it's not the worst either. If you don't mind a little extra installation to anchor the tall tower or switching the assembly locations then it's a good tree for a small space.

Kitty loves it, looks nice, easy to assemble
Just opened and set up this cat tree today. Our two cats, one kitten and one grown, could barely wait for me to get it all put together. They immediately were playing with the pieces and using the posts. The carpet was immediately pretty visibly damaged, much faster than with any of our other scratching posts, but there are other posts for kitty to sharpen his claws on.Assembly overall was reasonably easy. I like the height of the tree, two cats can play comfortably on it without being too close together. It does wobble a little when a big cat is on the top tier but swapping the post with the bed on top with the shorter post with the three dangly toys helped make the bed accessible and keep the kitties from knocking the tree over trying to get into the bed.So far the tree has had some aggressive play on it already and hasn't tipped over or wobbled too precariously.I will update this review if I have any changes of heart.

My cat loves it !
Easy to put together although the box is to small for my one year old cat, he loves the bed I moved it lower as it was hard for him to get to the top

GARBAGE
The product looks very nice. However, I found it to be wobbly. The cat doesn't seem to mind it though. My biggest disappointment is in the quality of the carpet. within a week it was all pulled apart and looks very messy. It would need to be a carpet with a stronger and tighter weave. Now I need to get some rope to rap it a round so the strands are not just hanging there..Love the hanging toys though..Next time I would purchase same thing not as tall as well. This height is a little excessive. But is the carpet that bother me the most..would choose a different product again. It has been now 3 months and the product is garbage! DO NOT BUY!!!

Cat tree
The tree is very large once you get it together. I found the top level a bit unsteady so removed the top post and kept the bed. Works like a charm. Thanks for the prompt delivery.

What a buy!
This unit is AWESOME! Our kitty loves this thing. It is mice and tall and decent looking, not an eyesore. We switched the top bed and paw resting stations as it makes it a little easier for the cat to climb down with the smaller piece on top. We love watching our cat play on this tower. TOTALLY worth the money we paid for it.

Tipped over and fell into the window when my cat jumped up into the top perch. She weighs about 9 pounds. Too tippy.
