The digitizer has pre attached adhesive which is good. However the connector that attaches to the motherboard was more difficult than other digitizers I have installed.

A little large
Overall, this piece works fine and serves as a cost effective alternative to having to buy apple parts for fixing a broken screen, but it doesn't sit perfectly into the device. After installing, one corner continues to pop out. This doesn't cause problems for functionality, but is annoying.

Worked as expected
Part arrived packaged in one of those full sized cardboard envelops, so it wasn't folded or bent and crammed into the packaging as I've heard others complain about. It fit perfectly in my ipad 2 frame. The only exception is the bent corner where it was dropped but that's not the parts fault. I skipped trying to bend the frame corner back out because I thought it was a minor dent but it does affect the fit of the screen no matter how minor it looks. I'd recommend trying to straighten any dents before you put things back together. Also, there's a small groove all the way around the inside of the ipad that the plastic frame fits down in. It's best to clean this out really well so that the plastic sits level with the surrounding metal so that the screen has a nice flat surface to rest on. We thought we had this really clean, but when we put the plastic frame down it was bumped up in several places from tiny shards of glass or glue. We took a small straight blade screwdriver and ran it all the way around inside that grove to get it nice and clean.

Slightly undersized
This was an excellent replacement for the bezel that was ruined during screen replacement. The only issue I have is that it seems slightly small for the screen. The screen would not sit all the way in the bezel; one corner was always under the screen. When I would stretch that corner to seat the screen, the opposite corner would be pulled beneath the screen. After messing with it for quite a while, I was finally able to seat the screen....... mostly. The corners do not come completely up around the screen like the original bezel, but you have to look pretty close to notice it. I'll watch it over the next few days to make sure it stays put. Also, make sure you buy some sort of adhesive to stick this down to the frame, as it does not come with it and the old adhesive mostly comes up with the old bezel. If you are replacing your screen, I highly recommend getting this, because you WILL ruin the old one. If you are one of the few lucky enough to be able to reuse the old one, you'll only be out a few dollars. But if you ruin the old one and don't have this on hand, you'll be very disappointed.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------UPDATE:I checked this the day after I installed it and noticed one of the corners had worked its way back under the screen and caused the screen to pop up. The screen is now loose and I will have to remove it and purchase new adhesive and probably cut this bezel, leaving a gap, in order to get the screen to stay down.

Perfect fit
When the digitizer cracks from the IPad being dropped on the edge corner, the bezel may tear, as happened in my case. This replacement is a perfect fit. It comes with an adhesive strip along the edge to adhere prior to installing the new digitizer screen. Gives it a nice finished look with the new screen.

Great replace for broken digitizer frame
Tricky to put on but well worth it! Don't forget this when replacing broken digitizers!!! This will help by setting the digitizer screen and to keep moister out!

Not sure
Didn't fit the best. Took a good bit of massaging to get it into the right position to put the screen in. Changed my screen a week ago (for the second time so unfortunately i am not a rookie at this) and this bezel keeps getting up under the screen in a couple places and I have to massage it back out. I must have not done the best job of gluing the screen down. It was right when I first did it but a few hours later this bezel had found its way under the screen near the home button and its keeps getting worse. I'm probably going to have to take the screen back off and glue it down again. Not sure why the bezel won't stay in place.
