Kinect Sports: Rivals - Xbox One

I absolutely love this game. Wake Racing, Bowling, Rock Climbing, and Tennis is a ton of fun especially in a party scenario. I didn't like target shooting and soccer very much as they felt lame and slow compared to the other games. Kinect picked up movements fairly well overall and missed a couple movements sometimes but its understandable as nothing is perfect! I would recommend this if you just want some friendly competition with your friends and family on physical sports without leaving the living room.

My family and I had been waiting for this game to come out for months since it was a game that we could all have fun and play with together. Positives: The graphics are great and the facial scanning of the players is really cool. I am sure we will have a lot of fun playing the games together. Negatives: It takes awhile for the game to load and you can't jump into the games you want you have to unlock new games. Of course the games that everyone would like to play like bowling and tennis or some of the last games to unlock. Overall I really like the games graphics and player interactions and think that this game will be fun for all ages.

I pre-ordered this from Amazon and it was delivered to my house yesterday. I was very impressed with the speed of the order. The games are a lot of fun. There is a learning curve, you have to play a few times and definitely do the tutorials. But even my 3 and 4 yr old had fun mimicking the movements of my wife and I playing the games. The kinect works really well IF you follow the tutorials and do the motions right. My wife had trouble at first, but she soon caught on to the way the games work. I am very happy with the games, as it seems our whole family can take part in them.

I REALLY enjoyed kinect sports games on 360. I was so excited that i pre-ordered this immediately. Boy, what a disappointment!!! Menus are confusing. Games feel rushed, not very creative way to use kinect compared to previous games. Story forces you into unlocking everything in their order. I couldnt play with my wife for about 2hrs while we unlocked the games. Unlike previous games, each game had mini games. In this game, its just 5 or 6 games and you wont be playing them much because of how unresponsive is the Kinect. Bowling for example, just felt so much better in the last Kinect sports game. I felt like i was actually bowling. In this game, its just me swinging a arm and hoping it will strike. Soccer is just plain stupid. Tennis feels broken which i dont get cause in kinect sports it was really nice and fun. This is not worth $65 that i paid. Wish i had waited. Feel like selling this game and buying a original kinect with kinect sports. Please dont buy!!! Wait for it to be resold for $5 - $10. Go play the originals. MUUUUUUCH more fun and responsive!

This is best kinect game ever made. There are six sports to play and bowling is my fav. Wave racing is the hardis to play by far. Climbing is real work out! The story mode is silly but the game play good. If you want to use the kinect get this game.

This game has a slow start to letting you play on your own. However, once you have the freedom to play it is really fun! I ordered it back on January 2 and got it yesterday. My two best games are bowling and tennis. It is like you are in the game. The other games are fun as well; you just have to try it for yourself.

I had been waiting for this game since it was announced. x1 Kinect is supposed to be better at tracking no matter the lighting situation, at least that's what they said in a bunch of youtube vids, not so. I have all lights on or play in daylight and I get mess. that not enough light in room. I get a mess. that it cant see my feet although the image on screen is showing them. its supposed to accommodate 4 players but with 2 players I get a mess that were standing to close. I loved the original Kinect but this game is going backwards. 2 stars because I do like the wake racing. soccer is boring all u do is swing foot and block shots with very slow response same with tennis very slow tracking causes you to miss ball. shooting is not a game. you just move your hand over target and it shoots automatically. rock climbing is fun when the tracking works. bowling is somehow not as fun as the original, sorry I cant explain why just to say that the entire package is so bad. make your own decision but please rent before u buy. as for Microsoft. i'm keeping my x1 because i'm a halo fan. but for the rest of the games i'm buying them for the ps4 i'm about to buy. 600 bucks to play one game, that's my bad.

The only reason I bought the game was to see the potential of Kinect. I preordered the game from Amazon and so when it arrived on the release date I had forgotten all about the order four months prior. I was disappointed at first because the game feels like a gimmick. But you gotta give it a chance. After completing tutorials for various sports and venturing further into the game, I realized that Kinect Sports is a lot of fun. There is a leaning curve; stick with it. Once you are comfortable with the movements, the game is a lot of fun. It's the sort of game you can play for 15-20 minutes in your free time or a couple hours on the weekend. Great multilayer options too.
