First Time With Heirlooms
I've raised thousands of acres of food and fodder in a long career that included stints as a certified crop advisor, and now that I'm retired I'm trying some heirloom seeds out for a learning curve. I planted a portion here in the fall and plan to plant more come spring. My seeds germinated at about 60%, and I'll account for that next spring with over-seeding to compensate. They sprouted within a week and came along nicely.I then faced an unexpected battle white flies and ants. We got about a half dozen nice little squash going to about 4 inches before an unexpected frost (41° F was predicted) killed the plants. I made notes all along the way and will give it a try again here in CA come late winter or early spring. I'd buy from this supplier again as I figure out how heirlooms differ from commercial seed.

Not one seed germinated
I seriously wish there was a negative stars option.I planted these following directions carefully a month ago. Not one seed germinated- you’d think the company would simply refund the purchase price…. Seriously how am I supposed to return seeds that I planted???!!! Do they want a box of dirt?Don’t waste your money

Nice, big, zuchs
Got a couple of big zucchini, which were nice and firm, even after baking (stuffed). Of course, then the stray cats started using my veg garden for their toilet, so that was that. :(
