I got this for a friend for Christmas and it was just lovely. I'd read reviews on just about every one of these but one seemed the best. The box it came in was special and attractive. And the wee pillow was lovely. It was a nice gift to give someone. But best of all, the sound of the bowl was superb.The trick is to ding it quite hard with the stick, near the rim on the outside. The slowly roll the stick around the outside of the rim where the gold coloring bit is. It sounds 'nice' for a bit, then ohhh... it starts to sing. Wow. Don't give up rolling the stick until it starts. You'll hear it when it does. It's beautiful. Also, it seemed to work best sitting on the wee pillow in my palm.I'd highly recommend this one. It was excellent, great price, lovely box, and it came quickly. Thanks.

I ordered this as a gift for someone. I opened the box and I got bubble bath. Their birthday is soon and I just hope I can return this and get the Tibetan bowl that I originally ordered the first time around. Geeezzzzz?...

It sounds terrible. It sounds like I am hitting wood. We have one at work which sounds beautiful and we use for meditation. This one doesn't work at all!
