I need help to replace The current battery it has a one-year warranty the warranty expire in November 2018 the battery start acting up and I didn’t realize it wasn’t holding a charge it would only hold a charge for 15 minutes please I would like to return this battery for a new battery under the warranty. Even though I am out of warranty for the past two months. I need a replacement battery fast. Ordered on Thur and arrived Friday came with ALL the tools I needed to replace old one. I cannot rate longevity as just had two days. I am very very happy so far will keep you updated. Fit perfectly no problems installing came with all the tools needed. Great job Thank You

2011 MacBook Pro - I bought this replacement battery on February 2, 2019 for about $29. It turns out to be a 5,000 mah battery. It was easy to install. At first I got 3 to 4 hours of use. I use my laptop every day. But, it started losing its capacity. It was down to an hour max (35% capacity) in late December 2019 after only 152 cycles, worse than the original battery it replaced (after 7+ years!). I downloaded Coconut Battery app (free) to see the battery's condition - I recommend this app. As for this battery I suggest you go for another. Look for a 6,000 mah with a higher user rating.

I thought this battery was great at first and that it would help solve my problems with my battery life. However, this lasted only two months because it fried my charger and did not help with battery life. It drained my power and made my laptop die even faster.

So far so good I will update if anything comes up. The battery had a good charge out the box and fit like it should. It comes with a tool set that I didn’t need but doesn’t come with replacement screws for the battery which I found odd mine were stripped by the previous owner :(Update: Battery won’t hold a charge only had it a few months

Battery worked great for 2 weeks. No longer holds a charge and the battery gets very hot to the touch. Disposed of the battery as it started to bubble up and was afraid of an explosion. Next time will be ordering genuine replacement parts.

Easy to install, MacBook is now happy and the service battery indicator has gone away. Maybe ever so slightly lower capacity than a brand new OEM but difference is negligible. Can’t beat this one for the money if it continues to work as well as it does.
