Perfect fit and easy install
I have a 99 XJ and had to change out the serpentine belt last week and during that work I broke the last remaining spring-tab at the bottom on the original electric fan (I had broken the other one a few years earlier .. :( )I looked around and just the plastic shroud was like $20 and since I was still using the original fan & motor I decided to spend a little more and get the whole thing. This was priced right, looked compatible and here we are!Install took less than 5 minutes and was a perfect fit, took it for a drive and it functioned fine.Recommended if you need the fan, motor or shroud replaced.

RHD? Mail Jeep?! Cherokee? Yes! Fix it with this!
I drive a 2000 Mail Jeep with 348,658 miles on the odometer on a 61 mile K route with a lot of gravel and nasty rural experience. The Jeep is falling apart and so am I...(darn you, Bezosbub...too many Amazon big packages!).Anyway...enough about me.Here's how you use this to fix your RHD fan that is broken and expensive to replace...if you can find a used one, even.1. Remove the old unit from the Jeep. I usually take out the bolt holding the power steering lines so I can move them out of the way enough to get clearance to pull the old fan out. BE CAREFUL (!!) WHEN YOU PULL IT OUT!! THE OLD SHROUD IS GOING TO BE REUSED BECAUSE THE LHD AND RHD ARE DIFFERENT! YOUR OLD RHD SHROUD WILL BE BRITTLE FROM YEARS OF USPS HEAT!2. Remove the fan blade from the old unit. You are doing this so that you can get the motor off the old unit....there's a clip that you push off and then you can pull the blades off with some effort. It can be hard to get off. Again....be protective of the old shroud.3. Remove the bad motor.4. Take the motor off the new assembly (you have to remove the fan blade to access the bolts....just like on the old assembly...same process...)5. Put the new motor on your old shroud....and the fan blade....don't forget the clip6. Put the newly assembled...ummmm, assembly....back in the Jeep....careful of the shroud....it's easy to break the clips at the bottom (or so I've heard....a mechanic with my level of experience would never break something in a ragged out/abused mail Jeep...LOL)...7. Get that bolt back in to hold the power steering hoses.8. Don't forget to connect the power to the fan so it comes on when you start to overheat 20 miles into your route...That's it.Easy, right? There isn't a lot of support for these old Jeep Cherokees...RHD, that is...so a solution that gets anything working again is a comfort.I did this job twice....using this exact part. The first replacement lasted 6 years of hard daily use....running a lot every day. It's a good part...necessary...and good to get it working again.

Works as good as the OEM part but cost way less.
The media could not be loaded. I installed this cooling fan on my 98 Cherokee on May 10th, then I took the video on May 26th, to give it some time to see if it messes up, but it didn't. It's well-built and as good as the OEM part, but cost $30 less than the auto parts stores wanted for it. Installation was mostly easy. Just gotta take your time and make sure you line the bottom and top up so it's not cockeyed or you don't break it by trying to force it in, in such a confined space.

Yet another BINGO!
Perfect fit for my ‘99 330,000 mile Jeep Cherokee; easy install. Works great, runs great, no more over heating. Good times!

Perfect fit for my 88 xj.
If you have an older xj that runs a little hot you need this. Don’t waste your money at the auto parts store with the on the shelf fans. My jeep would run great and randomly creep up past 210 and then there was no coming back, she would hit 240 and I’d throw it in neutral and cut it off and pull over. This fan never let it get over 210 even driving through thick Carolina sand for 20 mins or more at a time with an ambient temperature of 90+ in the sun.
