12 Bulk Break Your Own Geodes - Discover Crystals Inside!

on 24 we got 16 hollows one very nice, some still easy to open (second grader were able to break them open) but nodules (not hollow but solid), some so hard that we were not able to open them. This is the fifth set I bought, a good % are hollow, I got also some stone (not nice stone but stone that could look like geodes but they were not geodes, I had to discard them), but overall I am happy with this product. Keep in mind that is best to buy more then you actually need, so all the kids are going to be happy. I guess its a great idea also for parties.

Great present everyone loved them. Only issue was how difficult they were to break. We tried hammers we tried smashing them. Eventually we just had to throw them at the ground repeatedly and they broke eventually.

Not the best, not the worst. Some geodes provide very sparkly crystals, some don't. Really no way for anyone to know though without breaking them open.

All the same clear color when cracked open. My kids were hoping for a purple but overall very happy with purchase

Claw hammer, ball peen hammer, 4lb hammer, rock pick/hammer, cold chisel. Nothing worked. Had to get creative and bust these Open with a mounted bench vise and a pipe over the handle for leverage. Most were completely solid. Still cool though.

Gave these out as Christmas gifts/ stocking stuffers. Everyone loved them! Wish it had more than one copy of the directions, but for the price, I can just explain it to people :)
