Unique LoomChateau Collection Area Rug - Hoover (8' x 10' Rectangle, Dark Blue/ Beige)

Yeah, so glad we bought this. Agreed, little thin (but no worries, rug pad works like a charm), sturdy, quality rug. Well made - it’s beautiful, buttery, velvet texture, totally worth it. Definitely can recommend. For reference - we got the 8x10 and the smell was not bad, typical new rug smell.

Initially I bought a small 4x4 to test out as an entry mat and it was just thin and sad looking. Pretty pattern though. I was absolutely baffled by the positive reviews. I returned it and bought several other rugs, most were more plush but I didn't like any of the patterns as much. So I ordered this one again in a large 10x14 with a rug pad. The combo of the larger rug with a pad worked pretty well. Its soft but not thick or plush but I'm ok with that since it's easier to clean anyway. I'm not the type that would own a shag rug or anything like that due to cleanliness. So I will say that it is a perfectly decent and very pretty rug. If you buy a small size you might find it insubstantial and disappointing. If you plan to have it anywhere other than a dining room, you will surely want a rug pad. Buy the thickest one you can afford, as the pads usually thinner than advertised.We are happy with it and it has a beautiful farmhouse vintage look. Definitely has a good amount of beige mixed with the dominant cream color it but still works very well with our light grey walls. The dark gray blue is lovely. Also, I ordered several rugs from unique loom and all of them were quite nice. Bought some from the Narenj and Oslo collections that were especially great. None had smells. Great brand.

I like the rug's distressed design and colors - "really tied the room together" . Bought 9'x12' version for the bedroom and color way. However, a couple of things potential buyers should note: - As noted in previous review, the rug is very thin. Good if you will have a door opening over it but bad if looking for a thick rug. I bought a 1/4" pad for it and it's ok, thinking a thicker pad would have been better for the bedroom where softness is coveted. - SMELL! my goodness, this thing has a very strong chemical smell that won't go away. I've had it placed close to a week now in a 15'x15' room with 2-3 air purifiers going full blast the entire time and it's still very present. I cannot tell if its as strong as when first placed or not but I'm wondering how long this stench will be present. i'll give it another week before I move into the room before deciding whether or not to keep it (I despise returning products).

I cannot believe how beautiful this rug is!! It is perfect for what we were looking for. The blue color is more of a gray blue, which I actually preferred more. It’s looks “expensive”, but is actually an amazing deal. It is thin, but I was aware of that before.... but nothing a rug pad won’t fix. I have NEVER felt so compelled to write a review for any product I’ve ever purchased aside from this. Highly recommend!!!

Beautiful rug! I ordered the 10x14 and it fit the space perfectly. It is a thin rug but also very soft. We put a carpet pad underneath which I definitely recommend for a more comfortable feel.

This is a beautiful rug! I read other reviews and ordered a rug pad to go along with it, and it is very thin, but with a rug pad it’s perfect!

I bought this 6’ runner to go in my bedroom. I thought it would be like my Unique Loom Stockholm Collection from Amazon. However this rug is way more thinly made, and does not compare to my previous purchase.

This area rug surpasses my expectations especially with the price it is!! I absolutely love it. It fits my decor perfectly. It’s soft and such rich color. A little thin as others say but a pad makes it just perfect.
