Lisbon PopOut Map (PopOut Maps) Map – Folded Map, November 7, 2014

As we went to search out small maps we found the company that we had previously used no longer was around and it was harder to find maps. Knowing that we would not have cell phone coverage while on vacation we bought this fold-out map. FANTASTIC! It had the metro on the back as well as the city. We used this daily on our 10 day vacation in Lisbon and it was easily stashed in a purse or pocket and was still very easy to read.I definitely will recommend this map and the next time we travel we will go to the pop out maps again to get us where we are going!

Loved this little pocket map on our trip to Lisbon.It has a lot of detail and is very accurate. We carried this map with us the whole week we were in the city.It is made of a plastic-like material and it folds-up easily.A must-have if you plan to explore this city and are new to the area.

Love these pocket maps! I've used them for different cities. It is so much easier to flip open (and closed!) one of these instead of struggling with a big foldout map that blows away, never folds back right, tears at the seams, and makes you look like a tourist... This fits easily in a pocket, has metro info on the back, and when you pop it open there is an amazing amount of detail in several maps, though admittedly some small print. I've found them to be durable, too.

it's a mini travel guide a great way to orient yourself to the city, it can be easily taken out and put away without looking like a tourist :)Whenever I go to any new city I always get these, they also make nice mini-souvenirs a good way to remember your trip, especially if you mark places you went.

These things are fantastic - I will never travel without one. The metro map on the back was referred to so many times and I never saw one available anywhere else in my travels. Very helpful, easier to do it the "good old fashioned way" rather than relying on electronics.

Purchased it, but didn't use it much. The free maps at the airport tourism booth was just as useful.

Bought for Lisbon but it is way too small to use downtown. I kept it for reference but it is useless in the town. Use your phone instead.

Still going to use it, but looks to be of good use to find my way around the points of interest in Lisbon (some of which I marked already). Contains 2 foldout maps: one of the whole city of Lisbon with a scale of about 1cm to 300 yards, and one of the centre of Lisbon with a scale of about 1 cm to 100 yards. The maps are especially useful if coordinated with the map of the metro lines on the back (all metro stations are marked on the main maps). I could already figure out how to get from the airport to my hotel by metro just on the basis of those maps.

What a little gem of an idea. I purchased this pop up map for our recent trip to Lisbon. It was invaluable we walk most of the time and all the places we wanted to go to were on the map. It became a source of amusement to my brother who said I whipped it out at the slightest mention of 'where is .....?'Must check and see if a version is available for other cities we intend to visit.

Pop out maps are always easy to transport in a pocket or bag and usually stand up to folding and refolding without problems. I have used them for both US and European cities with success although occasionally the folds don't work well after a week's use.

Always buy these for holidays. Excellent little map that takes up no space at all. Good quality. Would recommend.

Could not have managed without this as we had not visited Lisbon before. The Metro map was really useful too. It was opened time and time again but kept folding back perfectly. Will still be in great condition for a follow-up visit!
