It works...
Used to charge a bedroom 12V motorcycle battery that provides a permanent charge for a car stereo unit at the bedside. Does the job. V pleased.

It's Optimate, say no more
Excellent, 1st delivery had a faulty panel, replacement sent out before I could return the faulty one! Great service. Replacement works as expected keeping my boat batteries topped up while out of use during lockdown.

Working even when cloudy
It seems to be working it shows as charging even on the gloomy days we have had since purchase. It has not taken the battery up to full charge but considering the car is being used daily for short journeys it does seem to be helping maintain the battery at a useable level.It's plugged into an outlet in the rear of the car that is live when the ignition is off, we purchased the lead for this. The unit is well made and quite big but it fits on the dash still.

no power to the garage-problem solved
I have had mine for two years now, its been hanging on the back on the garage so its south facing. Never let me down, i swapped it between two bikes and it kept the batteries alive through winter.

great product
the charger works well on my sprint st 1050,the main thing to remember is that the charger plugs directly into the solar panel lead, and not into the lead from the charger.

IT WORKS!!!!
My motorcycle has a moody battery. It will drain when it sits for days too long. Without an outlet I can't use a regular battery tender. This solar tender is strong enough to keep my battery maintained while it sits. I tried the battery tender brand solar tender and it wasn't strong enough and my battery died. This works and when its cloudy it goes into some type of saving mode. It's great, I would buy another one when it gets old and dies.

Perfect solution for winter storage in the shed
This is the second unit I have purchased. I store my lawn tractor in one shed and my street bike in my other shed. Both stay fully charged all winter without having to run conduit and fully wire the shed for power including pulling permits and having an electrical inspection. This is the second best solution and a whole lot easier to get up and running at a fraction of the cost and effort and no permits.Unless you need lights and full power to your out buildings this might be your best solution. I might go that way a few years from now but for now I am able to store my equipment without pulling batteries to bring inside to charge.

Batterie-Retter
Weil ich sehr viel mehr Fahrrad als Auto (A-Klasse von 2008) fahre, habe ich mehrmals eine entladene Batterie gehabt - ein teueres Vergnügen. Jetzt liegt die Solarzelle auf dem Armaturenbrett und lädt brav meine Batterie (die praktischerweise unter dem Fußraum des Beifahrersitzes liegt) und hält sie voll. Zum Fahren wird sie abgestöpselt - die Buchse bleibt unter dem Beifahrersitz und stört nicht. Die Zelle verschwindet im Kofferraum. Sie wirkt sehr stabil und wertig gearbeitet. Problem einfach und wirkungsvoll gelöst. Und billiger als alle zwei Jahre eine neue Batterie.
