I recently replaced the filters in my KENT RO system with this Inline Sediment and Carbon Filter set, and the difference in water quality is immediately noticeable. If you’ve noticed a drop in water flow or a slight change in taste, these are usually the culprits. The Sediment Filter: It does a great job of trapping physical dirt, sand, and rust. My old one was quite discolored after 6 months, which shows it’s effectively protecting the more expensive RO membrane from clogging. The Carbon Filter: This is the "taste" booster. It successfully removed the slight chlorine smell we sometimes get from our tap water. The water tastes crisp and clean again. Pros: True DIY: These are standard push-fit filters. You don’t need a technician; just press the blue/white collet and pull the pipe to swap them out. Build Quality: Sturdy housing that doesn't leak under high pressure. Protection: Essential for extending the life of the RO membrane. Cons: Make sure to flush the Carbon Filter for 2–3 minutes (until the water runs clear of black dust) before connecting it to your RO membrane to avoid fouling it. Final Verdict: Buying these and changing them yourself saves a lot of money compared to a service visit. Reliable, effective, and a must-have for every 6-month maintenance cycle. Helpful Tip: Always check the arrow for water flow direction printed on the filter body before connecting the pipes!

These filters are genuine. I verified them through the Kent website and attached the verification images. The price mentioned on each filter is ₹600, so the total for both filters comes to around ₹1200. I bought both for ₹1197, which is almost the same price. check with local shops to so you can get any price reduction.
