As a woman with very large feet, I've mostly gotten used to the fact that cute shoes aren't for me. But I've wanted a pair of these stuffed animal slippers since I was a kid.! I was only in 4th grade when my Grandma took me to Walmart to exchange the Sylvester pair she bought me for some holiday ---- but none of them fit!For 25 years since then, every once in a while, I'd look online to see if these existed in my size yet..A few years back, I noticed companies started making plushie slippers for men, but they were all scary or gross. I don't want monster feet or biting sharks. I want something cute and adorable!!Well someone finally made some cute options of these all the way a little past my 12 ww+ MENS shoe size. Even though it doesn't say wide widths, I had to try after reading a review about these somehow fitting their loved ones wide "hobbit feet".They're right!!!You may need to put your hand in there to lift up the head and smooth the fabric the first few wears or your toes might feel squished. Then, the liner holds it's shape after that on its own.Liner is like a fuzzy polyester. It's not a good texture for bare feet imo, but if you're not sensitive to fabric, you probably won't notice. Wearing socks that fully cover the ankle bone, will fully cover any off texture.My only strong complaint, and I'm not even taking a star off because this may just be me... is the 1 inch foam soft sole. It thick but very weak. I get its supposesd to be plush and softsoled, but these really could use a denser stronger foam for the soles to make these easier to walk in.Yay!! 25 years later I've finally got my adorable cartoon slippers!!Oh, also, the outside is SO SOFT, like powdery soft super short fur. It's divine to touch!
