loving my red snappers
I loaded the first quilt on my longarm using the 10 ft red snappers. It was very easy to install (add to my leaders) and loading the quilt was much faster than using pins. I was impressed with how easy it was to use.

loading is so much easier
I'm not sure why Fakespot grades these reviews so low, but I don't care - my second set is arriving today. I just moved 2000 mi closer to family and in the process lost my leaders and the part of the snappers that slides into the leader. So a new set is arriving today.I saw a review that someone said they didn't hold 3 layers of fabric, and I'm guessing that person wasn't really using them properly. There are videos on YouTube that show how. I float my batting and top and baste into position after I use the snappers to load my backing, so I'm clamping my backing on which is only one layer of fabric and I have no difficulty. When they're new, they certainly are stiff and tight, and the best way I've discovered to get them to snap on is to bend the top part back as you go to spread it out so it can clamp onto the leader. Yes, you might still have to work at it a little but the more you use them, the easier it will get. I'm so grateful my new set is arriving today.

Works great
Best invention in the world

This takes a lot of hand strenght to snap in place.
This system is definately faster and safer than pins. However, I have arthrisis in my hands and I was unable to snap them into place. I got my husband to cut several of then into 3 inch sections. I can handle these more easily and they still work better and faster than pins.

8 mos later and I won't go back to pins ever again
I love this product. I hear it used to come in longer lengths but this works just fine. I LOVE it so much better than sticking myself with pins on my long leaders and find it works out very very well. I'll never go back to Pins! Thank you whoever invented this miracle of time saving! It takes a moment to wear them in a bit so they are not so hard to get on. Like a good pair of shoes you have to break them in, but it's worth it! watch some yourtube videos to get an idea of how to push down to insert them at a 90 degree angle and save your hands.

Load quilts fast & easy!
These red snappers make it so much faster & easier to load a quilt onto the longarm frame versus using pins! I hesitated getting these forever because I have arthritis in my wrists & hands and many reviews say it hurts their hands putting the "C" clamps on over the rods inside the hem. I was so relieved & happy when I used them and had no issues whatsoever! Very easy to use these, plus they save lots of time.

A must have for long arm quilting
These are so easy to use, makes putting quilt components on a long arm frame easy. You don't have to fuss with pins or zippers. If you don't put it on straight you can easily undo then reposition the quilt back, easy peasy. They can be a bit firm to clamp on, but you do need it to hold the backing well, and should loosen a bit with use. Highly recommend these.
