This stuff WORKS!
I purchased this 6-pack of Tommy Tape because the price per foot is lowest when purchased in bulk. However I did gamble on the assumption that the quality of this product would be very high. And I was correct!I needed to solve a specific problem: sealing off leaking black pipe gas joints in an old church. The gas pipe is so covered in paint that the years of leakage had caused a hydrocarbon sludge film to build-up on the pipe itself. I attempted to seal the leaks with "cold weld" steel reinforced products but they all failed. I then thoroughly cleaned and sanded all the pipe joints and had the engineer shut the gas lines off. Then I purchased the Tommy Tape and wrapped it on the leaking pipe joints. It worked so well that it prediction to my client that I made came true: The repaired joints had now repressurized the system and cause leaks to appear at other weak points in the lines. And I sealed those with Tommy Tape too. It's been 3 weeks and thorough inspections of the building have shown there is no more gas leakage.Since then I have used Tommy Tape to: Seal off my leaking shower head that was spraying water everywhere; Cap off electrical lines temporarily because I did not have wire nuts on hand; Wrap the handles of an old pair of pinking shears; Seal off a leaking copper water line and a leaking Pex water line.It makes sense to buy over engineered products. Remember this type of silicone wrap was originally developed for the armed forces to seal off leaking fuel and coolant lines in military equipment, and perform a variety of instant repairs while in the field. If used properly it's unlikely you will find a scenario where this product doesn't exceed your expectations.I would recommend this product to any professional tradesperson, technician, handyperson, DIY'er or homeowner.

Great for airtight sealing and is heat resistant
Used this on my Freeze dryer after tightening all the connections to have an extra layer of protection for vacuum leaks.

Thinner than other brands
This product works well, but because it is thinner than what I was previously using I have torn it a few times while stretching it. I have been using Gardner Bender and it is 7mil, I cannot find a thickness for these tapes. But again, they work fine, stick well, seal tight and the multi-color pack is handy for color coding. I keep the thicker one in stock for larger repairs.

Way better than electricians tape.
I wish to were less expensive. I use this tape to protect circuits in severe moisture environments. It stays put until you cut it off. It sticks to itself very well so don't be a fumble fingers or you will have a snarl. For what it does I don't know of anything better. Save an appliance electrical cord from fraying? You bet. It holds things together better than duct tape although it is not as tough.

Not as advertised.
I did get what it shows in the pic, but not all tapes are the same, that's what I thought i was ordering. 4 tapes are the thick tape, which I wanted, the other two, the white and the black ones are very thin. So basically I paid $30 for 4 tapes. Not happy at all, I was planning on re-ordering them every so often, but not any more. I would like to get reimbursed for the two tapes I'll never use

Silicon self-fusing tape is an amazing invention!
I use this stuff instead of heat shrink for electrical connections. It also replaces electrical tape for a lot of applications. Cut off a length, peel off the backing, stretch and wrap it around your bare wires, and you're done! Insulating, waterproof and durable. I wrap my flashlight body with it to give me grip when I wear gloves in winter. I wrap sections of our slippery polypropylene dog leashes so we can easily hold on.Really great stuff!!

... being silicone queen i bought this and I just love it.
I just found out about silicone tape and with me being silicone queen i bought this and I just love it..best deal on amazon I can find. there usually like 6 -7 dollars for a 1 tiny roll ad with this you het a whole 6 pk. I love silicone tape and use it for gripping tools , among other types of grippers for items I have..I recommend to anyone that needs gripping handheld items. well I recommend to everyone to buy ,its just awesome and nice to have around the house. not to mention with silicone being heat distant and can tolerate 1200 degrees with out burning or bathing fire its very handy to have on deck.

Great for Quads!!!
So I saw the “warnings” about some brands being thinner, but that’s exactly what I wanted. I originally purchased one roll from the local hardware store for about $10 but it was awesome stuff. Used it up as an upgrade to electrical tape. Then I needed more, saw this at an awesome price and assortment of colors all in one pack. It’s thinner than the other brand but for my application it’s exactly what I need. I would positively buy this stuff again from this seller and I do recommend this to RC guys daily! Thx again for just the right stuff;)

Impressed
My central vac hose broke at the handle. I tried to fix it a few times. came across this adhesive tape. I used one whole role. It did the trick. So far so good. The package has about 6 rolls so we can use it for other things like plumbing. I think there are man uses for this item.
