Works as expected. The beep to indicate that the temperature is ready is not very loud. It was easy to switch from Fahrenheit to Celsius. I like the small clear plastic case. Not able to evaluate accuracy because I don’t have any other thermometer.

I tested and compare with some others I already have. It works and is accurate. Tip: the most accurate temperature you get it's in this order: mouth under the tongue, than the ear. The least accurate is under the arm. Read the instructions.

It does what is supposed to do, which is provide fast, accurate information and it is easy to use. The reason I scored this a four is, at least for my thermometer, the notification ring is faint. I barely heard it. My hearing is pretty good. Otherwise, the product is fine. In terms of seller, the shipping was fast and it arrived in good order.

This is a great device to take a person's temperature.

As expected

I purchased this thermometer because I take care of my disabled chronically ill mom that has to be monitored closely. I read reviews saying both positive and negative things and decided to give this a shot. My mom started complaining of not feeling well and showing signs of fever so when I checked her temperature the konquest said her temperature was 97.3. After taking my own temp with the konquest thermometer it said my temp was 97.6 and I knew something wasn’t right. She was flushed, hot to the touch and very sleepy so keeping in my the reviews say it was inaccurate I borrowed my neighbors thermometer. Thank God I did because mom had a temp of almost 103. I ended up calling an ambulance because her blood pressure was dropping and her pulse was getting weak. The tests at the e.r revealed that she was septic( an infection in the blood), and she has been in the hospital since Wednesday, which is the day the konquest thermometer came. She continues to have fevers but they are coming down, she is getting strong IV antibiotics every few hours which is starting to take effect. The doctors anticipate her being in Hospital for about another 10 days, depending on her progress . My point is DO NOT rely on this thermometer for an accurate temperature reading. Its inaccuracy could be the difference between life and death for you or your loved one.

I chose this old school thermometer because it doesn't have that infrared technology. I tend to check my grandsons temp often when he is sick and I don't think it's good to keep exposing his brain to that mess.This is very accurate takes about 10 seconds and then beeps.I'd buy this one again , better than the one I got from Walmart.

I had high hopes for this thermometer and was disappointed when I received it. It is very difficult to read the temperature if it actually works for you. I didn't expect it to be top quality as its price is quite low, but the quality was disappointing. I set up to have UPS pick it up for return, only to have them not ring the bell, leave a pickup label in my mailbox, so now I have to make a trip to return this when it wouldn't work correctly. First time I've been disappointed with a product from Amazon.
