It was obvious that I needed to learn more about using this complex camera.The “dummies” book is aimed at novices who wishes to develop their skills. After 60 years of taking photographs, I decided that as far as digital photography is concerned, I still have much to learn, so a comprehensive back to basics guide on how to set up the camera properly would be useful. And it is.I haven’t read it from cover to cover, only referring to the sections I need, and helpful it is.Excellent publication for al those who wish to get the best from their camera. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Just the job *by W***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 April 2019* This is a brilliant guide, it's made owning my first DSLR so much easier, I can tackle all of the settings with confidence and produce excellent results. As with all of the 'For Dummies' books it's set out in stages and bitesize sections that are easy to follow without being patronising. The colour illustrations are a great help. I have no hesitation in recommending this book. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I am a beginner and I highly recommend this book! *by A***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 February 2019* I recommend this book if you have just bought this camera and feel a little lost and daunted by the camera, the settings, all the buttons and the technical terms which you may have heard before but don't really know what they mean. This book is well written and it breaks everything down to the core and gives you a real insight into the camera starting with the very basics and then into the more technical ways you can use the camera to create beautiful shots and video . The book really takes you on a little journey. You can read a section of the book and then have a play with the camera and test each area. It has plenty of pictures to back up the text.
