8 months without issues, now shopping for a replacement.
This unit was flawless until recently. Now it has issues with output, which means I had to remove it from my system. Both outputs went blank so I am no longer able to split the HDMI signal. I noticed quite a few of these splitters look identical but supposedly are made by different companies. I doubt if my next splitter will be of this variety due to that reason.

Really wanting this to work
I bought two of these based off the reviews. They work, sometimes, but frequently requires a reboot. The reboot, however, is not just unplugging the power, as there is no on/off switch, but also unplugging the input connection. This is because of poor engineering of power distribution in the design. The device will stay powered on from the 3.3V/DC from the HDMI connection, which is not a HDMI compliant. Unfortunately, this product must receive a 1 star due to the fundamental engineering problems that makes this device NOT HDMI compliant.

It lasted 4 months, better than the previous reviewer but still not good and I can't recommend.

Stay away from this splitter!
Lasted a little over a month and now it's too late to return product. Stay away from it cheap price= cheap product!
