Good lights with less heat output
These lights fit the traditional outdoor floodlights but with much less heat output. The light quality is good and it was very easy to install. The six pack ensured that there are back up bulbs.

Hits the sweet spot of brightness and color.
3000K and CRI of 80+ produce accurate, comfortable color on walls and pictures (much better than the 3000K CRI 90 bulbs I had to return). They dim well without flickering. Decent price. Worth the long shipping time.

Great bulbs
I needed to replace some 9-year-old can bulbs (LEDs) and found these. At first I wasn't certain how they'd work so I ordered just one pack. They work great so I ordered two more packs just now. Here are some key points: Claim: 9 watts. My power meter measured 8.6 watts so their claim is real. That's 2 watts less than the 11 watt bulbs they replaced that were roughly the same brightness (those were claiming 820 lumens at roughly the same 4000 K color temperature). Claim: 850 lumens. I couldn't measure this, but it seems about right. Obervation: These bulbs are smooth enough so I can use a suction cup at the end of a threaded broom stick to remove the bulbs. That worked with my old halogens, but the 9-year-old LEDs that these replaced were too "dimpled" to use the suction cup. Love it! I don't have to get high on a ladder to change bulbs. Observation: These bulbs dim with 27-year-old dimmers that we have in our house, including a GrafikEye system. Not all bulbs work with those older dimmers, and some don't even work well with new dimmers supposedly designed for LEDs. Note that the beam angle on these bulbs is 35 degrees, so not a wide flood. More like a spot light. But that's what our can fixtures used before. I obviously couldn't say anything about longevity, but expect them to last. Only time will tell. Overall I love them.

A good bulb if you can compromise
These bulbs have a lot going for them, but there are compromises. The pros: they have good brightness and good directionality, the color is warm for an LED, and being constructed mainly of plastic, they are pretty indestructible, and a pretty good value. There aren’t a lot of short-neck PAR30 LED bulbs out there. There are a few drawbacks, though. The front lens, which is also plastic, has an indentation (probably for beam focusIng). If using suction cup extender to reach a tall ceiling location, it is not the most secure handling. Mine dropped one time from about 15 feet and it didn’t break, which is how I can speak to its durability. The other drawback is that these bulbs do not dim very well. Yes, they do dim, and yes, there can be inconsistencies depending on the brand of dimmer switch. However, I have tried them with three different LED compatible dimmers and the results for all of them is that they can’t be made very dim without flickering. In some locations this is not a problem, but if you want to dim them like an incandescent bulb, you won’t get anywhere near that level. I would buy them again, but I’m hoping by the time I need to replace them some of the issues will be addressed.

Great general purpose house lights
Great color (temperature), they’ve lasted a few years so far. Love the par 30 short form factor. Work well in our kitchen with 8’ ceilings.

Great replacement for old school bulbs
As described. I had been unable to purchase these from our local home improvement stores.

Bad quality light. Would not buy unless you are trying to make yourself look green
These bulbs flicker and and makes your skin look green. They were advertised as soft/warm light but it was not a warm light but more of a bright light making your skin look green.

I took long enough trying to find a good set of par30 shortneck led bulbs for my kitchen. I didn't want to go to homedepot and pay an arm and leg for philipps led bulbs plus it doesn't look like they have the correct type anyway. They only carry par38 and there have been lots of reviews where people complain about the dimmability of the units. These however, are absolutely 100% identical in color as the incandescent ones until you go under 10% brightness, these LED ones kept a more pleasant illumination where the incandescent really struggle to stay dimly lit. I totally recommend these for someone replacing potlights for their kitchen. 2700k is perfect, and its very natural.

Installed nine in our kitchen potlights. Worked perfectly with our Lutron Maestro smart dimmers. I believe a high quality dimmer switch, made for LED is a requirement for proper dimming with no flicker or strobing. These are nice and bright, so we operate at about 75% power, so expecting good economy and long life.

Proveen buena iluminación. El tamaño es justo para colocarse en una carcasa cónica empotrable como plafón.

These shed a lot of light for the power consumption rating, but despite the color temp rating, they seem to have a bit of glare compared to the halogen ones they are replacing. Overall, I'm satisfied with them. I just won't use them where the glare issue will be annoying. Recommended.
