Fixed the toilet
BThe tank bolt assembly kit fit my Kohler toilet perfect. Fixed the constant flushing issue. Really wasn't difficult to take the tank off the bowl (the kit is installed on the bowl top). Just be very careful tightening the screws to avoid cracking the tank. That's the most dangerous part of the job. Good luck!

Stopped dripping
This did the job. It worked as indicated, although it took me about 3 to 4 times longer to replace it than the old man on the YouTube video. Ha!

Easy fix for a leaking Kohler toilet
I'm not terribly handy -- I'd certainly never taken a toilet tank apart before -- but it seemed obvious that this "triangle" gasket was the source of the leak in my very old Kohler Wellworth toilet and I decided to give it a shot and repair it myself for about 95% less than the cost of a plumber.I didn't need any help and it was a fairly quick job. Swapping the gasket was pretty straightforward. The leaking stopped immediately. I'm a happy camper.TOOLS NEEDED TO REMOVE THE TANK AND OLD GASKET:- Big Sponge (to sop up the water at the bottom of the tank)- Big flathead screwdriver and (probably) a plumber's wrench to loosen the old boltsTOOLS NEEDED TO REPLACE THE GASKET AND TANK:- 1/2" socket and ratchet (or wrench)- Bubble level (you want to adjust the 3 bolts to make sure the tank is level front-to-back and side-to-side)A big flathead screwdriver and a 1/2" ratchet

Upgraded with plastic head screws
Pretty simple job, but can be messy from water and old deteriorated rubber gasketThis kit is an improvement from prior versionsThe three screws now have molded plastic heads, which improve sealing, and prevent the screws from rotating when tightening the nuts - making the job easierNOTE: It really does make sense to replace the toilet fill valve and flapper at the same your doing thisThe secret to the job is 1) shut the water supply off; 2) with tank top removed, flush the toilet and hold the flapper up until all the water what will drain out has; 3) either vacuum the remaining water out with a shop-vac (make sure it's empty and clean), or sop up water with some old towels (my preferred method); 4) Unscrew the supply hose; 5) Remove the three nuts/washers and the CAREFULLY tap down then unthread the existing screws; 6) If necessary CAREFULLY tap out the three rubber gasket lugs if they are stuck in the holes in the toilet base [I got carried away once and broke the back part of the toilet base off]The rest is simple, follow the included pictures

PERFECT FIT - why buy anything else?
I had originally purchased the Fluidmaster, but then found this perfect match for my Kohler toilet at almost the same price. Searched for YT video and found one by Kohler just TWO MINUTES long with everything I needed to know. No leaks the first time.
