FitBALL Exercise Ball Package - 65cm Color: Purple

This was a replacement for the same item that I got about 12 years ago, and it probably would have lasted indefinitely if my cats hadn't gotten to it and started it slowly but surely deflating (something to keep in mind). I have tried several other brands of exercise balls (I cannot pass up a good sale) and FitBALL is by far the best. It has a slightly textured surface that is not slippery or sticky, and it is very firm. Most of the other brands sink under my weight and throw my alignment and balance off. It's as if I suddenly dropped down to the next lower ball size. In addition, this ball has a pleasant smell to it, sort of like vanilla. The pump and exercise chart that are included are nice additions, as the chart has several exercises, as well as information about safety and care of the ball. The FitBALL may cost a little more, but believe me, it is well worth the extra few dollars. I very highly recommend this over any other brand out there.

I bought this ball to sit on at work. After a couple days getting used to it I don't have any problem sitting on it all day at my desk. I think some co-workers think I'm nuts but they can think what they want while I get an ab work out and they don't! I've had to air it up a couple times because I think it stretched a bit with me sitting on it all day but that's no big deal.

Excellent quality. Size is perfect. Purchased for laboring and it worked awesome! So comfortable during contractions. Now that baby is born I still use it when burping her, she loves lightly bouncing on it in my arms, calms her immediately. Also using it for stretching & exercising. Great product, my husband now wants his own!

After surveying many brands, this ball was chosen as my birth ball because of its reputation of anti-burst resistance. The only thing I might regret is to buy a pearl one since it is so easy to see small dirt on the surface.

But for the price, this would be 5-stars. I had this ball for about 12 years, but I must admit I don't think I paid nearly this price for it. I've used it for most of those 12 years as my primary work "chair" - no base added (those bases defeat the purpose!!) I now work from home, which means my office does NOT get vacuumed every night. I suspect I dropped something sharp on the floor and didn't notice it. Anyway ....The "5-star letdown": A couple of weeks ago I noticed the beginning of a split in the surface. I decided to see how long it would last, and trust the "anti-burst" technology. Well, in the middle of an online meeting last week .... ppppsssssssTTTTTTT !!I had plenty of time to get off the ball, with a good laugh along the way. Twelve years is - I think - a really good run for a ball used as an office chair.Anyway, I have to say that the current price seems a bit steep, so I'm replacing it with a less expensive ball that also claims to have anti-burst technology (as many do these days). However, if I were a purchasing officer for a gym or office - with liability issues - I'd do some research to see if there really is a difference in the anti-burst claims. I must say the new one doesn't seem to be as thick as this one. I might end up regretting going cheap on this, but most anti-burst balls seem to go for about $20.Hope I don't find out the answer to this question too soon!

The color that arrived was not "pearl" which is what I wanted. The color was "purple" as shown in this picture. Cannon Sports rep. told me they had notified you that pearl is no longer available and purple is the only color they had left. I DO know the difference, having previously ordered pearl colored balls from Ball Dynamics or Fitball USA.The quality is fine, but I will not be ordering more unless the pearl is available, I love the ball but not the color~

This product was everything it was described to be. New to this line of fitness equipment, the training video was very helpful and an excellent means for passive stretching. Excellent purchase and gift.
