This bag is strong! Holds a lot of trash. Very satisfied

You get what you ask for when purchasing this biodegradable/compostable trash bag. They hold up well enough but depending on the contents there’s often times some condensation at the bottom of the trash can and tears along the bag. Often times we have to double bag to make it to trash day-especially when the weather is hot. However, it’s worth it to us to minimize the amount we are putting into a landfill. If you have access to a dumpster and can dispose of your trash at your leisure the integrity of the bag would be a non issue.

I signed up with a local commercial compost company and they gave us a bucket to use for our compost scraps. I wanted to use bags in the buckets to make it easier to transfer to our larger bin.... I was using another brand of bags before (rhymes with BlioBlag) and we were having to be VERY careful about trying to remove the bag from the bucket, getting a lot of breakage/leaks, etc. I saw this brand and since they were BPI certified I gave them a try. WAY better. The bags seem to be a little bit thicker than the other brand and way more sturdy. We put in coffee grounds and leftovers and other slightly wet things and it holds up great (lasting a week). I try not to pour any liquids in there directly but otherwise everything else goes in! Definitely will keep purchasing these!

Got these to be more "green" with our trash. Overall these are great. We generally take our trash out once a week for trash day and that has always worked well in the past, not as much anymore. These are pretty sturdy, but if you toss coffee grounds or anything wet/compostable in these will start to break down. Just a minor change in our habits, but it is a bit annoying that it will start breaking down within a week inside the house. Good bags, good dispenser, just got to keep it dryish.

It works really well. It's strong and does the job. It does decompose, if you placed it outside on the grass with stuff inside, like dirt, and the temperature is high.

My wife and I are very conscience about introducing plastic into the environment. So, we decided to go with these bags as they are compostable. We got two boxes of 100 13 gal bags for the kitchen. After a year we still haven't used them all. We live in the county without house-by-house garbage service, so we have to take our trash and recyclables to the refuse depot. So far, we have not had any problem with leaks or the bags being ripped open. However, since they are designed to be compostable, they are not real thick, not designed to hold real heavy stuff, and are subject to small punctures, but, perfect liners for our 13 gal kitchen trash and recyclable bins. Recommended. A

My favorite bags by far. I will order again and again. We use for trash and recycling. They hold up well. I’m glad I’m doing my part by not using plastic trash bags.

I’ve always noticed that these bags are more prone to tearing than regular plastic bags. And I’m okay with that because I feel like I’m making a little contribution to the environment. I’ve probably bought 6 total rolls. The quality of this last roll is so bad that I will never buy these again. I’ve had at least 4 occasions where I attempt to tear a new bag from the roll, and it tears the next bag in half and ruins it. Tonight, I was going through a stack of documents to determine what I could trash. I filled the bag maybe half full, and when I lifted it, of course it tore in half and all of the paper spilled on the ground. I want to do my part to save the environment, but these bags have gotten progressively worse. I will never buy them agsin.

We expected no problem on our bins being that they are much less volume than these bags. But they don't really fit. Fortunately they are more stretchy than most compostable bags I've seen and we can just manage but it is time consuming and fussy.

Cool bags and seller.

Compost pail for dog poop. Not very sturdy. The bottom seam falls apart after a few days of use. What a disgusting mess.
