My husband loves these suspenders. This is his second pair. Sturdy!

Update - Feb '18 - My husband was so jealous of my suspenders, that he wanted a pair of his own, so we now have 2 pair of these and are just as happy today as I was when I wrote this review over a year ago! Original Review: These suspenders are now a permanent part of my ski gear! This year is the first year I have skied with ski pants instead of bibs. I spent the whole first trip with the pants pulling them up and adjusting them every time I got off the ski lift, and doing that with bulky gloves is a difficult thing to do! Also during that trip, I took a pretty big fall and ended up with snow up my back and down my pants which had never had happen to me before with the bibs. I came home and decided I was going to just buy a pair of bibs, forget using pants (even though I had paid $170 for them on sale), and for anyone (women especially) that have ever searched for cute ski bibs, there's not a lot of quality options in anything other than black. When I did finally find a pair of bibs, they were $220 and wouldn't have my size in stock until after the ski season was over. I couldn't justify spending $220 on bibs when I had just spent $170 on pants, and they wouldn't have made it to me in time to use until 2018, so $220 for something I can't use for 10 months was a bit excessive! That's when I started searching for suspenders to get me through the rest of this ski season with my pants. I thought about going with the traditional metal clasps b/c that's all I knew existed until I came across these on Amazon. After reading through the description and some of the reviews I figured why not! It would be a heck of a lot cheaper to buy suspenders then to worry about getting bibs or dealing with another trip of constant adjusting (even a belt doesn't totally help). I took these out just a couple of weeks ago for a 2 day ski trip, and I now CANNOT live without them! I'm no longer worried about bibs as these worked perfect! Not once did I feel like my pants were sliding down my waist and they were simple enough to take on and off when I needed to use the restroom, or just take them off in the evening. They held firmly to my gore-tex pants, and didn't slip or damage them. It was such a nice feeling knowing I wouldn't have to spend anytime trying to adjust my pants back up from when I was sitting or when I fell.....and when I fell, there was no snow up my back or down my pants!! They were super easy to adjust and while folks in my group laughed at me at first when I told them I got suspenders, they were all just as impressed as I was with how great they worked! Even during my fall, they never faltered! They now have a permanent spot in my ski bag, and I'm no longer worried about getting bibs! I know this was a long review, but I thought if someone went through a similar situation or loves bibs but can't find any color or pattern in bibs they want, then get pants and get a pair of these!! LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM!

EDIT: I received replacement suspenders and they've been working great. No problems with the pin. So, I've updated my rating to 5 stars. They look great. The clips are genius and hold wonderfully. I must have gotten a defective one, though, because when I went to put them on a second time, the pin holding one of the clip in was gone. It had fallen out at some point. I posted a question here, and no one else said they had a problem with the pin. I contacted Amazon and they issued an immediate refund with free return shipping (and UPS Pickup at my home). I've just purchased a replacement which hasn't come yet. I deducted 1 star for the defect, but 4 stars for an otherwise great product and fantastic customer support on the return.

These are the best suspenders I've found for holding my pants up the composite clip really holds and dosen't damage the pant material other than stretching. The metal adjusters hold the straps very well and the 1 1/2" gives me plenty of support. Although they're advertised as Ski Ups they work great on pants. I wish they would put the metal buckles on the trucker style suspenders though.

I bought these suspenders because I needed something stronger than a belt, in order to wear some ski pants that were roomy around the waist after I had lost a few pounds. I bought 2 pairs of nice Special Blend brand ski/snoboarding pants in size L.. and wanted to keep using them. I've worn these suspenders twice this year with no issues and they have performed great. I'm an intermediate to advanced skier and never had any problems with clamps and straps coming loose while skiing. They are easy to clamp on before use and easy to undo clamps after skiing. These suspenders are very comfortable and after a while... I forgot I was wearing them. The straps are easy to adjust. This is an excellent product for people who buy expensive ski pants and lose weight.

I bought these to keep my snow pants up, and I didn't want something with clasps that would tear up the fabric. These suspenders worked great. They're stretchy and comfortable, and half the time I didn't even know I had them on. Not once did they slip off the waistband, and once I figured out how to adjust them it was really easy. In case anyone is worried about length, I'm 5' 1" and while the front straps had no problem shortening up, I think if I was much shorter I would have had an issue with the back of the straps. The intersecting point is fixed and does not move, and was only a few inches below my neck in the back, so for someone really short I think it may have posed a problem not not being adjustable in the back. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase.

The plastic clasps are awesome. Use these every day. They don’t get caught on my car seat when getting in the car anymore!!!

Je n'ai pas une grande expérience des bretelles, mais la conception me semble durable. Les pinces tiennent très bien mes pantalons coquilles en goretex, sans les abimer (pour l'instant !). Seul hic, une seule grandeur offerte (large) pour homme, donc la jonction dans le dos m'arrive pratiquement dans la nuque. Je l'ai prise quand même parce que le système d'attaches me paraissait le plus intéressant pour la tenue et pour ne pas briser mes pantalons.

These are the BEST suspender clips, bar none. I have spent hunders of dollars, trying several other brands of suspenders, and never found any that are comparable. They keep my pants up. No more Justin Beiber jokes. They just work.

I've used these suspenders on my work pants every day for over a year- hanging tools from my belt, filling my pockets with random stuff, crawling into challenging spaces, bumping and scraping up against all sorts of nonsense. They just stay on. They're comfortable and durable, but most of all, they have the best grip on my pants of any pair of suspenders I've owned.

Excellent comfortable durable ski suspenders, used them for my snowpants through out the ski season. No issues discovered after putting them in a washer machine. Highly recommended.
