This automatic can opener may be a bit slow, but it's powerful and makes easy work of opening cans. It's extremely easy to use and can be left alone while opening a can. We prefer these "safety can openers" over the conventional can opener because there are not sharp edges after the can is opened. We had a manual "safety can opener" in the past, but the handle broke. This battery-operated safety can opener is an improvement. This is a must for every kitchen, especially for those who have issues with manual can openers or simply don't have the strength to use a manual can opener.

I like this Kitchen Mama can opener. It works well. Put it on your can, push the button, let it go around a few times th.n put the buttom again. Then it stops and reverses a bit. You just lift the opener up and voila, the can is open and you have a no cut edge. Much easier than the various manual openers I have in the drawer, Bottom line is that this can opener works as stated. Do you have to have this, no. Do you want to have it, yes.

Easy to use,great size and cuts great but it doesnt automatically stop when done. You have to press the button to stop it from turning

I broke my wrist and this has become my cats' lifesaver! Being unable to use my manual one, my cats are very pleased with the effectiveness of this opener on their pull tab cans---yes it even opens those cans. Doesn't work on the little cans as it needs the rim to rest its body on, but standard cans it works wonders on. No sharp edges. Love it!

Works fine, if you're in no hurry.Ideal for us arthritically-challenged, older folks.Occasionally produces a metal whisker, but is minimal/no more than might be expected.Sounds like the motor is straining, but I've since observed, that that is normal operation.Thought battery life would be poor...but... it is actually quite reasonable!IS slooow... but Highly Recommend, if it fits your usage scenario.

This is a great kitchen gadget, no more sharp edges for my husband to cut himself on, LOL. Very easy to use as well. Helped to free up counter space as it is tucks nicely in the side of my drawer. It came with the required batteries as well. Great value and an overall good product to have on hand in the kitchen.
