I Love the book.
I was looking for a book that word help me “mine the nuggets in God’s Word”. I found it in A Hebrew Word For The Day”. My wife bought this for me a few years ago the Lord prompted me to add it to my daily Bible reading. I am so glad that I did. This book is full of so much truth and revelation. As I read it, I begin to understand more about what God is saying to us in his word. You can’t just read a translation of the Bible if you don’t understand the Hebrew word behind it this book opens up the Scriptures, like I have never experienced before. Just look at June if you don’t believe me. June has taken me Through what David was saying in Psalms 23. Experience the book for yourself you will not be disappointed. I will only suggest this don’t wait two years to pick it up like I did. If you buy it start on it because you will not be disappointed. I’m also going to start on the other one that she bought me A Greek word for the day.

Learn Biblical Greek one-day-at-a-time
As a Christian I have always wanted to learn Greek so I can have a better understanding of God's Word from the language the New Testament was originally written in. However I don't have years of time to take college level courses to learn all the nuances of the language. J.D."Doc" Watson's book is the perfect way to learn Greek in "Baby Steps". His book is arranged in such a way that you learn a different Greek word each day of the year. Don't feel like you have to wait for January to start. Start today like I did. Each page has the date printed at the top. His descriptions are easy to understand and give practical ways to apply God's Word to daily life. Each day he gives you specific scriptures to find in your Bible further to enhance your study. I highly recommend this book for anyone who seeks to go deeper in your study of God's Word; from a new Christian to someone who has known the LORD for many years.

Great book!
I like the detailed examination of the words, very informative. The only improvement I'd suggest is havein the words also written in Greek.

The Word for the Day
Excellent book. Good for those you love to study the Word and want understand of the meaning of the word in Greek. For example our language has one word for love. The Greek has 4. The Greek is a very expressive language and it helps you understand history of when it was written. It gives clear definitions and analogy's for better understanding.

Fairly Decent Book
I like the in-depth look at Greek. I'm not too fond of the Calvinism. It would have been better if he'd just stuck to the Greek.

A really useful and interesting book
I already had this on my Kindle but wanted the printed book for extra study as I can then flick from chapter and page as needed. The knowledge of the original Greek meanings and nuances opens up the scriptures in a far more meaningful way.

Learn a little Greek
A painless way to learn a little New Testament Greek. A useful book for speakers and preacher's. Nothing too technical here but some good insights into many key New Testament words. I found the 'Scriptures to Study' section at the bottom of each page added something very worthwhile to the main daily readings. Overall, a very useful little book.
