the air bags are amazing! At 25 or 30 pounds the truck doesnt ...
Installed this on my 2012 4WD V6 Escape. The last year of the style and the pinnacle of Escapes. :) Anyway, I use a scooter / powerchair carrier on the back and the new one I bought lowered the truck some due to tongue weight. My brother installed it with my help, and we also drilled a new pin hole in the carrier reciever to move it in some to lower tongue weight. Wow, the air bags are amazing! At 25 or 30 pounds the truck doesnt sag or go down in back at all and drives like a dream! Without hauling the powerchair I dropped pressure down to 15, and it drives really nicely and seems beefier and more stable on turns and such. Hard to explain but it stabilizes somewhat. Don't believe the 1 hour install time, took us 3 or 4 hours, working on an almost new vehicle. 10k miles and stored in garage. If you had a car lift and everything ready for install you could do it quicker, but still take awhile. The learning curve is very fast after you do one side, the other side goes quickly. I bought a nice brass tee that had threaded compression fittings, the plastic tee is kinda junky they give you. And you will need more and longer wire ties than they provide.. The tubing and air bags seem very nice quality. Hopefully they will hold up overtime, will have to see.

A good product but..
I purchased the product for my 2009 Ford Escape and I am happy with the product so far however, some materials were of poor quality and quantity. The spring clips were garbage and very brittle. No matter how careful I was, they would break just as they were expanded enough to slide over the hose/furrel connection. Also, the cheap white plastic tee-connectors will probably fail over time, we will see. Brass tee-connectors would be the way to go. Also, you better pre-plan you tubing routing or you'll run out. I think I had inches to spare after routing the hose as to not abrade or kink on any of the vehicle parts. The airbags appear of great quality as well as the tubing. I would be willing to shell out a few more dollars if that was the reason for the package contents shortfalls.

Superb quality
This was a very simple set up and install ALTHOUGH i swapped these in when i was changing out my coils anyway! If i were to try and install with the springs still hung i feel that the "simple" task of deflating and rolling these into the coils would be rather difficult. Plus drilling the holes from the bottom seems rather foolish but what ever. The actual fell these are rather nice and combined with lowering springs these have changed the ride altogether.

Good product-set aside enough time to install
The Airlift arrived in a timely manner, appears to be of good quality and does what it claims it’s designed to do. For that I give it 5 stars. But……it claims here on Amazon and on other sites, that it requires only one hour installation. Some even state no drilling required. Believe me, even with a fully equipped auto shop, this is going to take a few hours. And you must drill the hose outlet through the bottom of the spring seat. Drilling is required. Beyond a doubt, the hardest part of this whole installation was removing the jounce bumper from the bumper bracket and then getting it out of the springs. I chose to keep them whole-Best to just cut into pieces to squeeze out of coil spring easier. Once the air cylinder is in each coil spring and the stem hole is drilled, then and only then will it require about an hour to finish installing the hoses and air the system up. These are installed on my 2011 Ford Escape.

Poor design.
The bag set comes with soft plastic lines. Clamps are included I purchased the compressor fromAir spring. The compressor and controls have hard lines. Quick release fittings No tee to connect dissimilar plastic tubing. Leak city. Poor design.
