PERFECT BALANCE OF INEXPENSIVE ENOUGH FOR MINIMAL USE BUT WARM, DRY
The husband HATES boots but we get a pretty good amount of snow most years and shoveling / snow blowing in sneakers is just not a good way to spend the day. We got 2.5 feet the day after these arrived at the house (I bought them specifically for the storm we knew was coming - they are very inexpensive so, if he hated wearing them, we weren't out much money but if he wanted to try, he'd have something warm for his feet). I don't know how they hold up to long wear but for the few significant snowfalls we've had this year, they've been great...they keep his feet 100% dry (except when he stepped into a drift that was taller than the boot), they are very warm and they are very cost effective. A very good buy for us.

Exactly what I was looking for
I hate buying snow boots because every year I do, we don't get snow. Every year I procrastinate on the snow clothes, we get snow dumped on us and then all the stores are sold out! These are water/melting snow proof which is what I mostly wanted, their tredds seem "grippy" enough and as I only have boys, black and grey are fine enough in the color department. I got a great deal on these when I bought them and with any luck it will snow a lot this year so they get some wear and tear on them!

Replace the laces, but i'd buy them again.
Update: Warning! The soles are slick when it comes to indoor surfaces. Just found out the hard way by falling down the stairs, feet just flew out from beneath me going down the stairs to the basement. After two heavy snow falls I can say without doubt they keep your feet warm and dry in single digit temps while shoveling snow, but you should replace the cheapo laces as soon as you can, after three uses they broke on both boots.Decent snow boot, the only issue I had was the tongue is so thick that I cant fold the extra material down, just bunch it up as I tighten the laces (again, which should be replced with something more substantial).

What blizzard?
Bought for my tween son to wear in DC for a weekend trip. It ended up being a blizzard and they were perfect. Happy with the boots and with the blizzard. OC can get real boring with the sun 24/7.Highly recommend.

Good boot
I bought these for my 13 year old son who has pretty big feet at a size 13. I have a hard time finding the right size in a well priced boot for him and he goes through shoes very quickly so I really didn't want to spend a fortune on winter boots. I found these and thought I'd give them a try. I'm glad I did. He loves that he has room in them and his feet stay warm. I can't say how long they will last as I think he'll only get one winter out of them but for the price, I'm not complaining.

uncomfortable
They fit perfectly but were extremely uncomfortable. I bought an orthopedic insert for the boot and it worked out much better.

Great snow boot
Kept my feet warm and dry when walking in snow. I was recently in Keystone and temps were down in single digits. Walked thru soft snow up to knee and feet stayed warm. Decent grip too.

Good light work kind of boot. NOT water proof.
This is a nice looking boot. I bought it for my son to do some chores out in the snow and while he says they are comfortable when he went out to be in the snow and mud his feet did get wet. So I would say they are nice boots but definitely not water proof. You get what you pay for. Not a work boot! Maybe just a casual light work boot to keep your feet warm. I will be spraying them with water sealing spray to try to avoid him getting his feet wet.
