As the title mentions there are 50 models for decision making. All models are presented very clearly with minor examples and pictorial references to illustrate the point. whenever you have 50 models - some are better than others. I would say about 30 - 35 are very relevant. The others are unoriginal and derived from previous models. The book is an excellent resource for abstract thinkers, because you can apply each model to different situations. A note about the illustrations - some are great, others entirely unnecessary like the rubber band model. Overall, at this price - its a steal, a great little book which gives you a wonderful starting point to think about each and every consequential decision you make.

I had a hardcover for this book and after misplacing it inadvertantly, second purchased it on my Kindle. Now you may imagine my love for this referral book, go for it.It provides you with several models on how to understand youself better, how to understand others better and how to improve yourself.The Eisenhower matrix is one of my favourites for self improvement and time management.

This is a nice book in enhancing your decision making capabilities by deploying the different models . Good for new leaders , managers etc.

Must have book

I was looking for a book on mental models. and found this, liked the text and graphics together to explain these models. its is best as a paper book. plus the gold-bronze cover was a surprise. can't really see it in the online photos.

this is a great mental model thinking framework collection, altho not enough but pretty useful tools to add into your arsenal.
