Well worth the chance
I was hesitant after reading reviews on this brand of Chinese outboard, but decided to take the chance as the price is impossible to beat. It is a near direct clone of an older Yamaha 2 stroke model design, which is a good thing as those Yamaha's have an excellent reputation. So far this motor has been excellent on my small aluminum v-hull fishing boat. I believe at least some of the negative reviews may be due to prejudice towards such foreign imported products (especially from China) traditionally made in the USA, which is understandable to some degree, but unwarranted.
