The lower the number on the scale, the narrower the fit, which ensures minimal internal movement of the foot when running fast on technical terrain. Shoes with the higher numbers on the scale will suit athletes with a wider foot and those wanting that extra comfort in the toe box. This wider toe box allows the toes to splay for increased stability when lifting heavy weights. It's also perfect for longer runs and races when toes begin to swell. Not quite what's on the label
My wife wanted these shoes after seeing an advert in a mag. We searched and eventually found them on Amazon.(same shoe same colour) Ordered a pair which arrived in good time, however they were bright orange. Nothing like those advertised. Contacted the company who informed us that was how the shoe was shown on the companies web site. Not true, the shoes were not even the colour as shown on the box. Shoes now owned by our grandaughter.

Worth it
They are a good fit, and easy to clean. I use mine in all my OCR mudruns and half of my Cross country, they have been perfect for them.

Should be an amazing shoe!
I've loved X-Talons for years and was very disappointed when the 190 was discontinued, so when the 210 was announced as it's successor I was excited. The main flaw in the 190 was the upper which had a tendency to tear, but the grip and feel of the shoe was so incredible the upper never bothered me, the 210 is the opposite, the new upper is incredible and very durable (they borrowed the upper from the old Road X-treme 138 which was almost indestructible), but the new 'sticky rubber' is just too soft and wears down unacceptably fast, if Inov8 had simply used the same rubber as the old 190 they'd have made an amazing shoe, but amazing the 210 definitely is not.
