Is there any lateral play when extended?

Ensure on level ground and be careful when it is fully extended.

Does this really only weigh 9.5kg? - Other equivalents weigh around 30kg.

It certainly weighs a lot more than 9.5kg,l would say between 40-50kg and it does appear to be pretty well made and solid.

Is there a trick to getting the foot pedal into place? The hole it is supposed to go into is too high / at the wrong angle for it to slot in.

All you have to do is use your hand to lever down a bit and then you can insert the pedal... don’t forget to use the bolt to hold it captive.

Would this lift be suitable for my Harley freewheeler trike

I have absolutely no idea... sorry as I bought this for my garage workshop to lift a small bench lathe which weighs 132kg
