Tweeten Cue Tip 10 Minute Cement Glue

This is a very strong glue once it cures but it does not take 10 minutes. It's a very slow curing glue. I gave it 24 hours before I touched it and it worked. I would recommend the same. 10 minutes will not do anything. Secured my pool cue tip very well.

Okay so I'm here because the seller sent an email asking for feedback on a tube of glue and to be honest I have nothing better to do at the moment. I guess the important thing to know is that when you squeeze it out of tube it's very sticky. When it dries it is no longer sticky but things which were placed on it while it was still sticky remain stuck.

I have been using Tweeten cue tip cement for over 35 years. I have lost count of the number of tips that I have replaced for myself and others as well. I frequently see bad reviews about this product. In my opinion it has to be operator error. I have never popped a tip off nor have any of my friends and paying customers ever lost a tip. The only deviation from the manufacturer instructions is, I clamp the tip using a rubber band and leave it under pressure for at least 12 hours.

I bought this in conjunction with some new pool cue tips, as reviews said it worked great on them (the tube even says SAFE FOR CUE TIPS). Unfortunately.....it didnt work at all on the tip I had, as the plastic FERRULE on the stick did not fuse AT ALL to the plastic layer underneath my $25 Kamui tip. I guess this stuff doesnt glue plastic to plastic (cheaper tips are just leather and dont have that plastic sub-layer....thus they had something porous to fuse to). 30 minutes after gluing/bracing the tip, it popped right off and I had to sand the ferrule AND the bottom of the tip back down to remove excess glue. Id return it but its not worth the 7 bucks for my time or effort. I just wont buy this again and will stick to normal SUPER GLUE. Im sure this stuff works fine for porous materials....but it sure doesnt work on plastic/plastic applications and nothing on the tube or description says as much.

While a serviceable “classic” adhesive, and it works, adhesives have improved a lot in the past half century. I greatly prefer Mercury Adhesives flexible CA for attaching cue tips.

This glue works as advertised. I use it for making quick repairs to broken porcelain figures. No longer have to hold the broken pieces together for 30 minutes or more before the glue dries. This is a great quick set repair tool.

Waste of good money, first attempt the paste never set, even after 12 hours, second attempt the cue tip fell off after 3 strikes of the ball, third attempt I used super glue, that worked!!

Beim ersten Mal kleben hat es nicht gehalten. Beim zweiten Mal habe ich es via Anleitung ais dem Internet geklebt. Wichtig ist das beide Klebeflächen mit Schleifpapier angeraut werden und man die Finger davon lässt. Dann nur noch über Nacht trocknen lassen und es funktioniert einwandfrei
