Q: why is this so expensive? it is only $2 at my grocery store.

I was expecting to receive "12 containers" due to the other answer here. I only received 1, for over 8 dollars! Amazon was helpful in resolving this, but as a warning to others: This is one per order - not 12. Note: My order came from "Etailz". Maybe it's different from other sellers?

The dates on the milks we had were about a year out, but I've never tried freezing them. And we didn't have to keep them cool - just put in a pantry at normal temp. You may want to contact the manufacturer and see if they've done any tests regarding keeping them cool.

Q: Does anyone find the "new cap" confusing? It makes it look like the seal had been broken before you first opened it. Is this normal for all of them?

The new cap is awesome!!!! The old cap could leak around the edges - this is a "pour friendly" cap and you can hear (and see inside) the seal break when you first open it. I was delighted with this new cap!
