Great little lampholder
Great little ceramic lamp holder for G9 LED bulbs. Photo shows it with hollow M10 fitting (bought separately) attached. Really easy to mount in 10mm hole thereafter. Bulb fits with satisfying click and works well.

Perfect for lamp repair
I am a lighting specialist and do many repairs for customers, this socket is well made and an excellent replacement when needed.Shaft of ceramic itself measures 1" with hickey (removable thread attachment) you are 1 7/16th's total depth. As mentioned the hickey is removable, for some repairs you will be using the original on the fixture. The screw line up is perfect and is handy to have the extra part just in case.If your leads are longer on your fixture, you can solve the issue with extending the wire with heat shrink if required. The leads are 9"+.Just to note, if you decide to go LED which I do recommend, you can not go back to halogen (clear glass base), so make a decision and stick with it. The wider ceramic base of most G9 LED's will stretch the internal grip pins, so going back to halogen will give you a loose connection, not always allowing the bulb base pins of the thinner glass halogen bulbs to make contact.The reason these go bad often is because of time and excessive heat, they can crack the socket eventually but replacing with these can solve the problem. In my case we have LED's in a window display that never turn off, they remain on for years, even with LED's we replace the sockets completely if constantly on for extended time. With the price and effort. The first one will be the challenge, the rest will be easier :-)
