Ordered this bicycle after reading some reviews i was a little skeptical but I still went for it. The bicycle while is packed i want to say well, mine came with a tiny not big of a deal scratch that more likely it was the handling of the box by UPS carrier. The bicycle was delivered from a California to Philadelphia via UPS ground and the box came with a few holes. Now to the bicycle, it was easy to install as 1/2 of the bike is already put together. After doing some adjustments for breaks the bike meets my liking, the bike alone is a 5 for me,rated 4 as overall from ordering, handling, ride.

Be careful with this bike
I write this unexpectedly and with lingering disappointment as I was very much looking forward to getting this bike. I cannot believe the quality of this bike. I bought this bike with Amazon services to assemble it. On the third day of riding it I begin feeling that the seat was becoming loose and after evaluating the seat I found that the piece to hold the seat in place was loose. It turns out that the screw had been tightened too far and the piece had broken. Now my seat is unstable and the bike is not usable. This is on the first week of riding the bike. I’m not sure if this is Amazon service’s problem for putting it together incorrectly or if the bikes low-quality caused the piece to break. This is unbelievable. What is worst is that the bike does actually look very nice but what good is that if it’s unsafe and dangerous to ride?

Defective
It came with dings and scratches on the fenders plus the right side of the fork was bent and the front wheel screw ( right side) would not fit. Power tools were used to fix it.

After delivery costs for broken parts
The back tire was held up by a bent back fender. Now I can’t ride it for another 4 days. And probably me being dumb, but I don’t put pedals on often, or ever, so maybe a right and left sticker on those please. Now I have to pay 65 dollars to get that back fender fixed if they even can. If not, I have to get a new one. More money’s frustrating. I already paid for this

- The bike has a cool vintage look
I bought the Beaumont 7 speed Matte Black model from Dec 2017. Writing this review after 200km. Using for daily commute.Pros:- The bike has a cool vintage look, and the Kenda white tires are beautiful. I receive a lot of compliments in the street (buy a good locker because it draws attention).- Shimano derailleur, easy to adjust and works really well.- Semi assembled, you can easily assemble in less than one hour. You receive all the tools necessary for it. I suggest you to buy some grease to use during the installation as suggested by the manual. If you never assembled a bike before, leave it to a professional because the derailleur and brakes will need adjustment. Don't forget to tighten all the screws because some of them came loose.- The matte black paint is pretty cool.Cons:- Expect that something will come broken. I also bought a Beaumont female version for my wife and in both cases something was broken. In my case the front reflector was broken and the fenders were bent. The bike is far from being properly packed. It comes with almost no protection (most of them loose in the box) and scratching the wheel with the frame. No protection between the bell and the handlebar: handlebar scratched.- I think they changed the tires for this model for a larger one and did not changed the fenders, because it is impossible to fit this thing. They came bent and they say in the manual "it is normal, you can unbent" but it is almost impossible without proper tools. The fenders are too close to the tires and everytime they are touching each other in some part. After a few hours trying to fix or create some workaround, I got pis... off and removed the fenders.- It is heavy. I removed the kickstand and fenders; for daily commute you will probably find it heavy. I usually ride with an average speed of 18km/h, which I think it is slow compared to other bicycles I had (vintage speed's).Overall: if you think it is better to ride with style, go with this bike, although you can find used bikes for a better cost-benefit. New bikes like this Beaumont in local bike stores here worth around $600. Despite some problems is a good bike for the price.
