Outstanding
This is an outstanding wifi radio. I love it. It's neat, small, plastic...but all feels like quality, reasonable sound, and locks onto wifi stored radio stations almost instantly. Easy to set up, navigate, and works very well with UNDOK App for tablet or smartphone. I also like that you can turn off the time/clock display, or rather - set it so that it goes completely black/off after the radio is turned off. Don't like shining bright clocks by the bedside! Great radio.Update - 12 days later!I still love this radio, but I have had to request an replacement from Amazon, since after a week or so, there developed a kind of "buzz" and "rattle" quality to the sound. I could not do anything to make that go away, when I fiddled with the EQ settings. So I'm hoping this was just a strange aberration, and that the replacement does not manifest this, since in every other way, I really like this radio a lot.

Battery Charging
This radio was easy to set up and produced good sound quality for it's size and price. It would have been better if the batteries did not have to be removed for charging.I listen to all kinds of music but mainly classical.

Easy to set up
Had a previous model some years ago. This is a very good Wifi radio, excellent sound, good conductivity to the remote Wifi router, easy to set up. I would not be without it for music and comedy programmes. But, I cannot speak for it as portable as I use it on the mains not battery. Good size and light weight.

Good sound but a pain in the arse to set up.
The instructions are a joke to make the thing work you have to put batteries in first none supplied with a £100 radio tight bastards. Then the power cord in the back.Only had it running for 2 days the first day brilliant second day the channels had moved and the radio told us to re select our favourite channels not what you want to hear at 4.30 amNow had it for 6 months and the damn thing keeps losing the WiFi and searching a right pain in the ar5e. Don’t buy one if you expect it to work.

Good portable internet radio
Good radio. Locks on to the wifi unlike other cheap models that keeps buffering. The sound is very clear. Portable and it uses batteries so can be used abroad. Currently I have bought 3 of this model. If you have the money, please buy one. Nicely budgeting.

Keeps on dropping the WiFi signal.
Wouldn't connect to our 2.4Ghz Wifi, only to the 5Ghz signal. However, the deal breaker was that it dropped the signal every few minutes and reconnected 30 seconds later, which makes it a bit useless as a radio. We know our home WiFi signal is _not_ the reason for the problem as our phones and tablets will happily function as internet radios over the same WiFi connection in the same place without any problems at all. When there was a connection the sound was surprisingly good, the menus weren't that difficult to negotiate, and the bluetooth speaker function was also good. It's a real shame that the product was completely let down by totally unreliable WiFi. So we're returning it to Amazon for a refund.

Works well but has limitations
I'm a fan of Internet Radios and went so far as to import this one from the UK just to try it out.The results were mixed. The radio was quick to set up. It uses software similar to that found on my Sangean radio so I found it familiar (if not entirely easy) to navigate and configure. I got a good connection* and was able to stream Internet Radio and Bluetooth reliably. The display was bright and easy to read. It looked good on my shelf.(*) I set this up in my office near the wireless access point . My other radios have had problems maintaining a steady connection when set up in other rooms. I can't say if this radio would have the same problem. The downer for me was the sound quality. It was pretty much the same as a 60's/70's transistor radio. I understand that there are physical limitations given the IR5's size but this was worse than a comparably-sized bluetooth speaker (and not nearly so inexpensive). It may be that this could be improved by use of the tone controls however it doesn't seem worth the effort given the starting point. Sad, because I had high hopes given my previous experience with the Pure products (the Oasis Flow).[Side Note for fellow US/Can users - The supplied AC power supply worked on 120V using a plug adapter. I was also able to find a US/Can power supply with the right barrel connector on eBay for $7.]

tinny audio and unreliable wifi connection
Bought a year ago for use in kitchen.Positives:Quite small.navigation on screen is OKNegatives:The audio quality is very tinny and low quality. I ended up connecting it to an external speaker on the AUX output. The wifi connection is flakey, even when located right next to a wifi router, it will often drop out.Effectively only 3 preset buttons. The main point of internet radios is to remove the faff of selecting radio channels using a screen & controls etc so more preset buttons would be useful.Have given up on this now and am getting a Roberts instead.
