I bought this for my sister’s Ethiopian restaurant. She's been using the ice maker and says it works nicely. The daily ice output is more than enough for customers, and the ice-making speed is really fast and steady. Also it runs well with acceptable noise level. So it is really a good kitchen equipment.

I really love this VEVOR ice machine. I got the one that holds 30 lbs of ice. It works great and makes plenty of ice for what I need here in Arizona. I’m very happy with this purchase.For my setup, I bought two 5-gallon containers, one for fresh water and one to collect the melted water, and that has worked out really well for me. It makes the whole setup much easier to manage. I would have loved to keep it in the kitchen, but we just do not have the space for it, and I do not want to take apart a cabinet for that. So for now, I keep it at the coffee bar for my daily iced coffee lol.Overall, this machine has been great and does exactly what I needed it to do. The only small downside is that the ice melts fairly quickly, although I also live in Arizona lol, so if we do not use the ice fast enough, some of it goes to waste. Other than that, I have really enjoyed using it. I previously had a very expensive sphere ice maker that did not work out, and I ended up getting this machine because of its simplicity. Honestly, I love this one so much more. 10/10.

Update: ice melts this is not a freezer that keeps it completely frozen. We are going through about 5 gallon bucket drain per week so you gotta make sure you add that to the water .. OK, now here’s my review on the icemaker. My wife and I were going back-and-forth as which one to get either a countertop for chips or this one for squares. I won, and so far it’s been fantastic. Granted it hasn’t been set up this morning. Very east set up and comes fully set up. I would’ve gave it five stars other than the cons that I had.Pros:1. Ice scoop is nice and metal2. Super simple connections3, I had this going in within the first hour. It was 1/4 way filled.4. Ice cub sizes and cleaning modes are great5. 120lb vs 100lb which is great for parties and events. It also makes it very fast and keeps up.6. Interior blue light.Cons:1. No filter had to buy separate.2. I ended up connecting this out in my garage. It is fairly loud. I don’t recommend having it indoors unless you can put it in a separate room.3. I have this straining in a bucket and I think I’m gonna have to buy a pump in order to get it uphill because the way that they have the outlet is so low the ground.4. You can’t level feet they are fixed.Overall this is a fantastic by and I would definitely 100% by it again. The quality of the machine overall is fantastic. I love this stainless steel and I can’t believe how fast it makes ice. I went with this option over the hundred lb options because it doesn’t fill all the way up and I wanted to be able to get an extra 20 pounds. The reason I bought this is because I am working from home now and I need to make iced coffee at home and we have a small ice machine in the house.

Love it. Run drain and input to the same bottle. Off Most of the time. Does not keep ice from melting too fast. Could use better insulation or cold storage instead of what it has. Perfect if the ice is needed quickly and in greater quantities. Not if it sits around unused.

This ice machine is the real deal. I actually installed it outside under a canopy because we host a lot. When we first installed it we had a party later on that day and it was hot and yet the machine still produced plenty of ice and in spite of not being in a refrigerated holder still kept the ice cold and melted. Keep in mind it was about 86° that day. The only drawback is that it does not come with a filter -You have to go out and purchase one separately which was a little bit of a hassle but it makes up for it in performance. Highly recommend it!

This ice maker is awesome I use it everyday for my work cooler and it hasn’t gave me any problems.

I should start with this: I ordered this for my husband's birthday. I received it in a timely manner and the packing was sturdy and in great condition. Once we figured how to install and got all the parts needed that were not included, the power worked however, the machine did not make ice. The first complaint is that the instruction booklet is thin and vague regarding some of the instructions. The instructions for cleaning are detailed. Installing and operating, not so much. The second complaint is that trying to get help with issues is nearly non existent. I tried to do the "chat" that is available with scanning a UR code on the front of the unit. The "bot" would not really help unless I had "clear and concise" evidence of what was wrong. The evidence could be a photo or video. The video could be no longer than 15 seconds. Pretty difficult to show the ice freeze part of the cycle when it is longer than 15 seconds.By the time I edited my video to fit their limited requirements, the chat had been closed. I responded to the emails that were sent with the "evidence" but got no response for 4 days. Then the response was "Although we have received the photos, we need to confirm whether the outer packaging is damaged or torn so that we can determine if it is a logistics problem and then claim compensation from the logistics company." Well of course the box was torn and damaged as we opened it prior to install! By this time, the box had been discarded.I went ahead and did a return/replace through Amazon. The second ice maker arrived again in a timely manner and packaged very well. After another install, after powering on WE HAVE ICE!!!The machine is effective and has three different thicknesses of ice. Again the user manual leaves a bit to be desired. We have however managed to interpret how to set the thickness and some other settings. The first sheet of ice dropped in 13 minutes and from that point forward every 10 minutes! It will stop when it gets full or when you power off. For the money, this small ice maker is efficient and provides more than enough ice to bag for later! We added a water filter but did not add a pump as gravity has been enough to keep the melt draining.
