I tried this so when I record video with my GoPro Hero 6 blk while riding my motorcycle I would not have so much wiring tucked up in my helmet. It worked beautifully. No wind noise. It was loud and clear when I reviewed the footage on my computer. It also tucked up perfectly against the inside of my helmet out of the way but in a perfect spot so my voice was good and clear. I used the foam cover that came with it instead of a dead cat. ( the dead cats itch my cheek) I could not even tell it was there. Great product for the money. No complaints here !

i had a headset and i lost the mic so i got this and its awesome. it works perfect and sounds fine from what i’ve heard but the only thing i would change is the little thing on the end of the mic. it falls off quite frequently and gets kind of annoying.

This order sucked for me. If you are looking to replace a recon 50 headset boom, do not but this product. It will not work for you. The description is a lie. It will not work for a recon 50 headset set from turtle beach. This product will steal your money. I do not reccomend if you are buying for recon 50 head set. Waste of time. Waited 11 days for this and not what I wanted

The seller was very helpful. He triuuwd to help me all he/she could unfortunately none of the products he sent worked. Not even the replacement ones or universal ones. Now I don't know weather it's the product or the headphone itself. However the only thing wrong with the headset is the microphone. I would.order from the seller again just not this product.

I liked the company the second I messed up and they replaced it for free after asking my headset type. The mic I originally got from them looked sturdier than the original one from Turtle beach. If you own a headset, don't think your mic won't break, I said that too then mine broke. just order a few extra ones now cause it sucks when your friends are in a group chat in-game and we are left with now input. The end-piece is better quality too, so I know there won't be too much lip-slap noise when talking in-game with this mic. Great job whoever made my mic

I lost my microphone and needed a replacement. This was a cost-effective option but I was skeptical. But it fit and I could be heard fairly clearly. I shortly after found my old microphone, so I'm keeping the replacement safe in case I lose it again or it breaks. I can say I was deeply impressed. My only complaint is that the microphone doesn't stay where you adjusted it to because the wire is too thin.

This mic works great as a replacement for the microphone part of my turtle beaches. Just plug it into the headset and you're ready. The only downfall is this mic does not allow to hear the subtle feedback of hearing yourself talking
