Ear replacement actually went on easier than taking off the old ones. Diaphragm and ring went on OK after I watched a YouTube video, but I did mess up the diaphragm a little (as you can see in the picture). Since it works fine I am not going to try and fix it just yet, as I'd likely mess it up even worse.I had sent this stethoscope in for repair years ago and they did a fantastic repair. Like new! But that was under warranty and it runs $120 to repair off-warranty so this is a much cheaper option. Not sure I would try a home repair again, but I wanted it done quickly and Amazon's prime shipping is great.Good luck if you DIY. Not too difficult but hopefully you'll have better luck than I did.

After almost 28 years of daily use, the plastic rim on the chest piece of my Littmann stethoscope began to crack and splinter. I took a chance on this replacement part, not knowing if it would fit a steth manufactured in 1991. Yes! No problem...installed with a bit of difficulty stretching the rim over the chest piece without crimping the diaphragm, but succeeded in getting it on without incident. Two soft ear tips also included in this kit. Sure beats having to buy a new stethoscope.

Restored my Cardiology III to working order after discovering a separation in the joint between materials of the original diaphragm. I was beginning to think it was a bit strange that everyone had diminished lung bases ;0)Not easy to install. Hence, the rating of 4 stars.

Bought to replace just the membrane (wish it was sold separately or with a choice of larger earpieces).My original membrane and the earpieces have lasted over 15 years of professional daily medium duty. Hopefully, I'll retire before this one breaks.There is one caveat: the membrane is quite difficult to install properly d/t a very tight fit. This membrane is supposed to have room to move when pressed harder against stethoscope head's inner rim to auscultate higher pitch sounds. It is quite easy to damage the membrane if installation is handled too roughly.It took me around 15 min. First, I pulled the membrane over a rim, then started to adjust it going around the rim's edge and carefully pulling the edge of the membrane back. Had to make a few rounds before getting it right. One may try to wet the edge lightly, but I didn't want to risk residual water left inside.All-in-all, my stethoscope looks and functions like new again. 15 min. for 15 years seems worth it!

My daughter is doing an internship, through high school, with a local doctor, who is also a family friend. He asked her to bring a stethoscope, and knowing I'd previously been a paramedic, he knew I'd still have mine. The ring around the diaphragm had deteriorated over the past 20 years since I bought it though, so it needed to be repaired. Placed the order and in less than 48 hours, my Littmann Master Cardiology was back in business. Perfect fit and an easy install. Tip... insert the diaphragm into the ring and then slip onto the bell as one piece. Tried to put the diaphragm on first, then the ring, but upon seating the ring, it pulled on the edge of the diaphragm, causing it to not fit evenly. Plus, new ear pieces are a bonus.

My stethoscope was a birthday gift from my sister so I was loathe to part with it when the diaphragm and one earpiece broke. Being a busy physician, I never seemed to have the time to trek out to my local medical supply store and get repair parts. Then, I had the brilliant idea to check on amazon and BOOM! There they were in one convenient kit. Order arrived promptly thru amazon prime and once again I was ready to rumble and save lives with no impaired efficiency and did't have to borrow nurse's stethoscopes anymore. All in all, I am very pleased with my purchase and would order again.

I have a 22 year old cardiac master stethoscope and it was in great shape. The outer ring was cracked. I called in asked what a replacement # part would be . I received this. It works good. I will say it does not work like before the outer ring was cracked. This could be my bad. I tried to piece an old stethoscope back together that I simply love. I will keep this as a spare and buy a new cardiac stethoscope.

Definitely not the same as my original. I used to hear not only cardiac but lung sounds to the fullest. Now i can barely hear cardiac. Would not recommend. Installation is simple, look appears authentic, however i cannot say this is authentic equipment. When you are looking to replace parts for nearly a 300$ stethoscope, i would advise purchasing directly from littman.

Una vez abierto, y tratando de colocarlo me encuentro que no encaja, la rotura del embalaje es causa de no haberlo devuelto, con la impresión de que no era el recambio apropiado para mi fonendoscopio, le he hecho un apaño y he podido usarlo.

El repuesto para tu estetoscopio que permita revitalizar las funciones del mismo y continuar dando años de servicio con la garantía propia de la marca, es conveniente ver tutoriales en Internet para la instalación del aro y del diafragma dado que no es tan fácil Cómo vienen en la guia incluida

Está muy bine que se puedan encontrar recambios de un producto tan especifico en Amazon. Para Amazon un 10 en comodidad por ofecer esto. Dado que se trata de un recambio, el producto era como se espera de buena calidad. Precio aceptable

Non so come sia la qualità del prodotto perché sto effettuando il reso.La membrana non è compatibile con il modello master cardiology IV,sebbene non sia specificato in maniera chiara al momento dell'acquisto.
