Unpacking is a beautiful game, and I would definitely recommend anyone to give it a try. It is very short, I think I played through it within 2-3 hours, but sometimes a games quality cannot be defined by its length. It is a very relaxing game, and there are puzzle elements to it as you try to store all the different items from the moving boxes (the large cooking pot and frying pan will be your enemies). While you're storing away the different items, you encounter old and new items, and see different apartments, which, as a whole, tells a story just through the environment. I think this was really well done, and I'm sure I will replay the game to see what I might have missed. This physical version comes with a beautiful reversible cover, and a little booklet (in Japanese) that resembles the notebook in-game. As with other physical games, the language will adapt to your system's language, so if you don't speak Japanese, you don't have to worry about getting this physical edition.

プレイ時間はとても短く、あっという間に終わってしまいますが、「買ってよかった！」「プレイしてよかった！」と思わせてくれる良作です。DL版ではなく、1本のパッケージソフトを買って、家庭内＆友人内で回して遊べば、充分元は取れるので、「このプレイ時間で３０００円は高すぎる……；」とも思いません。 大手配信サイトでサントラが聴ける点もポイントが高い。 スキマ時間にまったりゲームがしたい人へ。

タイトルの通りで、ゲームの作りやBGMで懐かしい気持ちにさせられる。 時間のある時、のんびりやるのにオススメのゲーム。 あんまりこの手のゲームをしたことなかったので新鮮でした。パズルっぽいのかな。 足りないと思ったところは、ボリューム。 一人の人間の人生を、引っ越しのタイミングで覗いてる感じなんだけど、もう何人かの人生も見てみたかった。 ゲームボリューム的な意味では少し物足りなさがあったが、逆に言えばクリアまで手軽にできるということかもしれない。 作品自体は大変満足なので☆5

The concept is cosy and the graphics having a retro feel to it. The controls on the Switch however are cumbersome and not so pleasant to navigate. It might work better on the PC or mobile but somehow when translating it into the controls for the Switch it’s slow and overall unpleasant to use as you are trying to navigate the cursor to unbox and then move the items around, which is sad because the concept is good.
