Good mask for the money...
It's the best welding helmet I've used/owned so far, and I've been welding for 20+ years. I got one last year for use at "home" and it performed so well with the stick, MIG and TIG welding I was doing with my 4 in 1 inverter set, including TIG at 20A, that when the no name mask at work stopped working, I got another one of these. Visablity is way better than the standard green filter that were in any mask I've used previously including top-the-range ESAB ones provided by previous employers. My only complaint is standard to all non-PAPR helmets in cold weather, it fogs up easily when you're doing long welds... But with type of filter used, it's not as much of an issue as with the green type.

i use it every day
Had it for a couple of months now and I use it everyday. I like it, only bad points are that the sensor divits are reccessed and if they dont get direct flash it wont work which can be blinding in hard to reach places. can fix it using a bit of perspex/glass rod to make a prism to catch a wider light radious. cheap enough to fix rather than spend a premium on optrel but maybe thats just me being an money tight fabrication engineer....

Great Value for Money
I bought this helmet around a year ago. I am a DIY/Part Time classic car restorer. I can't fault it so far. It's reliable and does exactly what it says on the box. Recommended.

Not good with glasses!
The helmet was comfortable and probably good value for money, but I couldn’t pull the helmet down whilst wearing glasses! If, like me, you have to wear glasses be mindful that the battery box on the left hand side inside the helmet is quite large and it constantly hit my glasses, making it really difficult to use. I had to return the helmet as I simply couldn’t use it and Amazon as always refunded immediately.

Brilliant
only a begginer when it comes to welding but this was a great help much more view and easier to see used it whilst obtaining a Level 1 in mig

Brilliant clarity
Night and day difference between this helmet and a normal helmet. Everything is crystal clear. Should have bought one sooner

Didn't work for me, for TIG inverter
Had high hopes and was attracted by the large screen and true colour claims but it would not stay darkened (flashes) on any setting so sending it back. Bought to TIG (inverter) on around 25 A. My old Parweld helmet works fine on these same welder settings. The labelling on the packaging for this Alien helmet states >2 A and suitable for TIG - it doesnt seem to be....
