I don't know what defines "REAL" Washi Tape, but this is it, chief!
This tape is amazing. I bought a few different kinds/ brands because I wanted a variety of colors to hang photos on my walls. This exact brand/type of washi tape is the only one that consistently holds the photos to the walls. Even when I want to spice up the colors, I always use this washi tape as the base layer that actually secures the photo to the wall. Then I layer colors on top of this tape. Also easily removable from my walls with no damage. The only way this brand could be improved is if they offered additional colors with the same quality of tape.

If you are looking for tape for watercolor paper, this is a good one.
I bought this to hold down my non cotton watercolor paper and I love it. For "student grade" watercolor paper like Canson XL, which normally tears from regular tape, this is the answer. It can be wiped off and used over again too.

works very well
We use this washi tape to safely secure unframed photographs on foam core for our photography clients until they can go to the frame shop. It's perfect for an acid-free tape that is not too sticky. No residue gets left on the photo when it's removed, but keep in mind our clients do their framing pretty quickly so photos aren't being left taped to the foam core for long. I don't know how it would hold up over time.

Good, but kind of see-through
Stickiness of the tape is great and I have been able to lift the tape up and reapply it many times without issue. My only real complaint is that it is pretty see-through so if you need it to completely cover up something I don't think this is the right tape for you.

So very useful
I bought just one before and found it so useful that I knew I needed to buy a pack of three for when I ran out. I use these for everything. Labeling my Tupperware, taping things temporarily to the wall. These stick well but don't damage what you're taping.

very nice for taping down watercolor paper. sticks well enough and doesnt rip up the paper when you take it off.

Fantastic for Diamond Painting
This works great for diamond painting. I love that it is plain white so it doesn’t add an unnecessary distraction when I’m working on a painting. It is a nice width so I can cover that little sticky edge on theedge of the canvas. The tape is easy to write on and is great for labeling my drill containers.

For labeling all the food in the fridge
I use this for labeling items in the freezer and fridge.
