PORTER-CABLE 20V MAX Power Tool Combo Kit, 4-Tool Cordless Power Tool Set with 2 Batteries and Charger (PCCK616L4)

I've had these for a while now and am just writing this review. These are great for the now and then projects around the house and even do well for me in my Handyman Services business. I just wish the set came with one 4Ah battery and one 1.5Ah battery, instead of 2 1.5 Ah batteries. Although generic 3rd party compatible batteries on Amazon are quite cheap if you do need a more powerful battery.Also, the charger is not a fast charger, so it takes about 2 hours to charge a 1.5Ah battery. Once again though, 3rd party compatibility fast chargers are available pretty cheap on Amazon.The flashlight is betting than most that come with kits, but it's not great either. It's plenty bright enough and will last about 15-16 hours on a fully charged 1.5Ah battery.The reciprocating saw and circular saw both have good power to get through some pretty thick soft wood, 2x4's, 2x6's and even ripping them, although they do discharge the battery quite quickly as opposed to the flashlight and drill. I have not tested them on any hardwood.I would definitely recommend if you don't plan on anything more than medium duty projects.

Bought as a "like new/damaged box" item was totally worth the savings! And was about $40 less for the set than at Lowes.The box appeared to be re taped and everything else was perfectly new. I have many other Porter-cable 20v tools and I love them. I used the sawzall for the first time doing tree trimming and it makes it a breeze! No fighting cords, and with the trimming blades (bought separately) easily cuts through branches 3-4 inches in diameter. I fully trimmed 3 fairly large Palo Verde trees before the battery died, ( but luckily it came with 2 batteries and one charger). Was just over an hour of continuous and heavy use. Im a normal size, and definitely not a "strong", 5'3" female. I can easily handle these tools, even cutting large branches with my arms raised and on a ladder.Circular saw is smooth easy to handle and easily adjustable for angle cuts. The drill is now the 2nd one I own of this brand and I love it! Lots of power for the size. My husband uses the same one for work everyday.I dont have much use for the flashlight it comes with, but the tools and bag it comes with are all super great :)Shipping was fast and items arrived (even better) than described .Will buy from this store again.

I purchased this multi-tool pack as we just bought a new house and I knew these tools were going to be put to work. Portal Cable is an off brand of big brother Dewalt, still quality tools but a bit cheaper for those of us that are not rolling in the dough!After purchase I immediately set out to test every tool in this pack. All functioned flawlessly and no issues were found. One gripe I have is the sawzall and skillsaw drain the batteries way to quickly. If you are using these on a big project (like building a deck) make sure to have extra batteries and a charger handy. The tools it self have worked great. My issue is the batteries. Very poor. They drain very quickly especially in the saw. I understand they are small batteries but it’s very frustrating. However for the price I got it at I can afford to buy bigger batteries

I'm a retired home contractor, went through corded tools, original attempts at battery powered tools, improvement to batterys but to heavy to work with. This has finally reached a functional product! I use for small projects around home but think these tools could hold up on construction applications.

I bought this for my husband for his b-day and he was blown away by the quality of this set. He had looked at just a new cordless drill and 20 volts started at $179 for just the drill and battery! I read the reviews and they were really good but I also noticed other vendors selling this same set for$179 on Amazon and thought I better grab one at this fantastic price. It was described as a 4 piece set but is in fact a 9 piece set!It comes with the bag #1, drill #2, 2 batteries #3 and 4, hand saw #5 and blade #6, reciprocating saw #7 and blade #8 and a flash light #9.It is very powerful and just by holding it we can tell its better than the Ryobe we recently purchased. I don't know how they can sell something this great for this small price but am so glad we purchased it!

Awesome 4 piece set. Drill, circular saw, sawzall, flashlight. Two batteries to keep the project moving. Great power and light weight. I had an old set that I left on a job site and it disappeared. Stupid shall be punished. Lol. But for the price and the performance it’s the Best Buy. It’s owned by Stanley Black&Decker.

got a great deal - 30 dollars off AND an extra battery.this is my first set of lithium power tools and I managed to screw in 30 decking boards (8 screws each board) on a single charge. My old makita drill with nicads would only do about 5 boards before it lost the power to fully drive a decking screw. Didn't know what I was missing. doubt I will ever go back to nicads again !(note that I got the tool set with 4 power tools though 1 is a flashlight for 169, the next set up has 5 power tools (includes a hex driver but only 1 battery was almost 300 dollars so this was the sweet spot in my opinion, would strongly recommend !
