Came on time and works
Carby uprated a 2.5hp outboard to a 3.3hp

2 issues
the carb fit perfectly however the motor idles at a higher rpm when going from neutral to forward it slams into gear very hard question can the idle be adjusted to a lower rpm Next issue motor cold starts 2 pulls it runs for maybe 3 minutes then bogs out after this happens cannot restart after 25 or more pulls also after few pulls it sparks and spits gas out of the exhaust Used it 1 time tried on 2 separate days but same scenario new gas quicksilver 2cycle oil all new water pump assembly but now at a shop im waiting for diagnosis

Worked right out of the box for my Evinrude
Bought this cause it looks just about identical to the carb on my Evinrude 2.3. After swapping out the throttle and choke levers this motor fired up without missing a beat! I highly recommend this for anyone who has a Johnson or Evinrude 2.3 outboard in need of a carb and doesn’t want to pay $250 for an OEM one.

Fits mercury 2.2-3.3 but doesn’t work well. Cheap aftermarket, better off going OEM
Ordered this for my mercury 2.2. Carb works but the throttle won’t stay positioned. So when you take your hand off it it will idle down. Makes it extremely hard to steer and move. Disappointed in the product do not recommend
