There is absolute no sense taking your time to try to make something like this when you can get this one at the price being asked. You'll astound your friends who haven't seen or heard these kinds of things when you demonstrate how it works. Very well worth the money.

This wooden amplifier is a solid choice when you need a slight volume boost without using a speaker. The craftsmanship is nice, and it works well in wet environments, which is a big plus. However, the sound quality remains the same as directly from the phone—just a bit louder. It’s a useful tool for certain situations, but don’t expect a major enhancement in audio depth. Still, a great eco-friendly and portable option!

Does not fit all iPhone generations

This is very simple but it really works. I put my phone in this holder and while the sound is not LOUD, it is louder. This is how I listen to my podcasts while working around the house.

If you have your phone in a protective case (and my protective case is thin) it doesn't fit in the device. I will look to see if I can file the wood back or saw it back to make it accommodate my phone.

My wife likes it not only because it increases the volume but also allows her to see the screen of her Galaxy S10 while it is playing. The volume increase is noticeable but it is not a fancy speaker that will turn your phone into a surround sound music system. But then no batteries are required.!

This works for better sound. Only thing is phones in cases will not fit. Otherwise this is a five star.
