Q: Does the ET Bird Control 2000 negatively affect fish, such as goldfish or koi?

Have not had the bird control near any fish or koi. Works fine keeping birds out though

Q: How loud is is this? Will it also disturb humans? Is it suitable for a large barn area?

Dear MargauxThere are two bird repelling settings on the ET Bird Control 2000. Changing this repelling feature is a simple push of a button on the upper left hand side of the unit. The first setting repels more in the Ultrasonic Sound Rages and is very inaudible. The second setting is set between Sonic and Ultrasonic Sounds and this setting is defiantly audible. Its not that bothersome though. If you were in your home and the device was going off just outside you pretty much wouldn't hear the sounds within your home. Also the sounds are very tolerable if you are within the area.

Q: wil this work on covered boat dock

It will depend on the length of the dock. I have one installed on a covered area behind my house. The sensor range to trigger the ultrasonic sounds and strobe light work well at 28 feet in my application. I am pleased with the results I have obtained in my application. The manufacturer will work with you to improve the application and settings if necessary. I recommend the product!

Can't respond to the range but the bird has to fly directly in front of the unit.... They worked well for me DG
