Curious Columbus - Magnetic Objects & Letters

My 14 month old loves playing with these on the dishwasher and fridge. I was a little worried about safety because it said 3+ but I’ve been reassured after receiving them. The size is perfect for his little hands, but big enough to not pose as a choking hazard. The magnet itself is large and flat, which I was looking for to avoid small, round, easily swallowable magnets. Aesthetically the magnets are cute and colorful, and he loves to look at them when he pulls them off! Lots of great pictures on the magnets too, to help with learning words. Great quality.

Great variety of Alphabet letters and fun animal/object magnets! They are a perfect size for little hands to grasp, with an average of 2-3 inches in size. My 1yr old and 2 1/2 year old Granddaughters played with them for hours. They are a very nice foam on one side (the pictures are also coated ) with a full magnet on the other. They appear to be very sturdy and I really think they are a great value for the money. They also have not left any mark or scratches on my dishwasher. That was a huge concern for me and they have past the test!! Do not hesitate to buy, they are fantastic!

Wasn't expecting much however these magnets are sturdy, well made and fun. I love hanging out with my toddler and asking him to find different ones. 100% would buy again for a gift! Perfect for a 1 year old.

Super fun and much loved. Cute as by ourself but not very useful to actually hold anything (more than single sheet of patter without added weight) up.

The letters are slightly smaller than I thought they would be, but the object magnets are great! Safe for kids as the magnet is the whole backside. Educational and fun! Magnets are durable too.

These are so great! I was considering buying the basic letter magnets, but I’m so glad I went with this product. My children love these! The images are great quality and the foam material on the lettering are as well. The magnets aren’t too strong so that it’s hard for the little ones to grab, but are just strong enough to not slide off the refrigerator. They are thick and not thin like I thought they would be. I love that the pictures have the name of what they are. Also, my daughter is almost 2 and these fit great in her hand! They’re not small. Material is great. Pictures are great.

Bought these to use on the metal side of the easel I made for our 1.5 year old. He absolutely loves them. They are rated for older kids, but most products err on the older side of safety ranges for their own protection. That said, these magnets range in size and some could certainly be a choking hazard (the letter "I" is very swallowable). So we keep a close watch on our little guy when playing with them. The pictures are cute and vibrant. All object magnets have the words written next to the images. Some objects seem to be odd choices for certain letters. Don't get this set expecting to spell things with the letters as there are not multiples of any letters. It's only to teach the alphabet. Our son has bitten down on them and left teeth marks, but they seem sturdy enough that he can't take a bite. We'll see how they hold up over time, but very happy with the set thusfar.

These are great! My daughter plays with them daily. Great to have in the kitchen to occupy her while I’m cooking 🙂

Our toddler loves these, a great assortment and fun. She recognises a few images and colours already and plays for ages with them asking what they are which is great for development.

Overall, great quality magnets! Nicely sized for small hands and the images are clear and cute! Some random objects as well as adjectives and not just nouns which I didn’t expect (see attached for images). This may be an extension for older aged children I guess! But overall there are many cute a colourful ones that make it worthwhile. I purchased these for my toddler and she’s really enjoying them, both on the fridge and to play with in her toy area to fill her buckets. It’s also a helpful tool for building vocabulary when talking to her about the pictures. I’ve culled through them and just taken out the ones I don’t think are relevant for her yet, including the letters (will use when she’s a bit older). I included images of the pictures as I couldn’t find any prior to my purchase and figured it might be helpful for some!

Exactly what I was looking for, intend to use these in speech and language exercises. The foam pieces are lovely and bright, great variety, good size too, not too small, as they are foam they will only be used while supervised, and they stick perfectly to the little white board I got for them, very happy with the quality

My two year old loves these and they’re fantastic for little hands as they have a thick backing that’s easy for him to remove and place on magnetic surfaces. He play with them everyday. Also love that it comes with a few extra images in case one of the originals gets misplaced.
