Love this paste, fantastic flavor!

I have no complaints about this product and would recommend it to anyone. I made an amazing low calorie soup with it and can't wait to use it in other recipes. The product itself deserves all 5 stars.The only issue I had with it isn't their fault, it's on Amazon. That's why I didn't take any stars off. The lid was missing when it arrived. There was still a seal, so the product was safe. I keep it inside a zip lock bag now that I've opened it, but I wish I just had the lid to cover it like I was supposed to.

Came packaged well, the expiration date was satisfactorily far off, and the flavor is great for soups and meat marinades.

This doenjang is okay. i was expecting something little darker and saltier. Since I am Korean, I though I know what what to expect. but this is lighter in color and also lighter in saltiness. When I saw the review pictures, it looked like what I was expecting. However, it wasn't. that is only one reason I took out 1 star. but it was decent taste but next time i might search for darker version.

Kind of like miso except a bit stronger taste and yummy in ramen or with meat, tofu and vegtables.

Freshness in question. Item was delivered with two weeks left of a “best by” date going from Jan 2024 thru April 20 2025. Was delivered to me on April 4th. Now shows as Non-Retunable.
