Good mop!! Came damaged.
The mop appears to be well made but a screw cap was missing and the tab on the sponge that it was suppose to attach to was broken. Furthermore, a refill or replacement J Series sponge is difficult to find, if at all. I have used this mop before and loved using it but it's not easy to find sponges for it so I had to toss it, which I really hated to do. You would think that they would continue to keep the J series sponges in stock for a solid piece of equipment like this one.

Deck staining
Great product to stain wood decks with if you use stain in 5 gallon pails. Not paint or deck over nonsense, actual stain. Use the oil based products only, and this set up allows for no dripping. Have stained many decks with 0 damage, and 0 dripping to whatever is underneath. Simply dip, squeeze excess, stain, repeat.

Need to consider this before buying
If I knew before purchasing what I realized the first time I used it I would have found something different. I think appliances may have changed over the years. I specifically purchased this mop to use with a wax finish product. I also thought I could use it for cleaning because the swiffer always gets stuck while using the wet pads on it and then the head flips causing more trouble than it’s worth.Anyway, things changed since I last used a sponge mop as a little girl. The appliances come so close to the floor (especially the drawer on the stove) so I couldn’t get next to it because the plastic part the sponge attaches to would scratch the black stainless steel finish if I did. So I had to use a rag to go along the bottom of the appliances. The next time I just used my big OCedar large rectangle mop that all corners are covered with a terry cover. I was saving it for when we got nicer flooring put in, but oh well. At least my floors finally shine to make the most of the old linoleum! Brightens my day not having dull ugly flooring! Also it comes with this Brillo pad strip to scrub. I couldn’t figure that thing out at all. It just falls off.The sponge wrings out well though, so if you don’t have new appliances you’re worried about scratching because they cost too much and you waited too long to arrive, then this is a great sponge mop! Go for it!

Strdy and convenient
Don't know why any negatives reviewd, good quality. Mop rinses easily, scrubber stay attached via velcro type strip. Mop, scrub, mop, rinse. It ain't rocket science. Keep the outside plastic nuts screwed down, do not over tighten. Excelsior!--Kentwood Guy.

It works.
My existing mop is ancient, and I never thought I'd be able to get the sponge unit for it. To my surprise it was the right replacement sponge. The only thing I was dismayed about, was that only 2 fasteners were sent for the 4 post unit. By fastening the 2 outer posts, it seems to be operating OK.

I like it, better than most
I've tried so many "sponge" mops only to find none of them absorb, like a sponge should. I just got this super squeeze mop, and a refill, and I LOVE that it has an absorbent sponge on it, but that yellow sponge is only 1/2 inch (or less) thick, disappointing. The blue part is just one of those non=abosrbent things that are useless imo. Why isn't the whole thing a true (yellow) sponge?? My floor is not that large so this will hopefully not be an issue. Also, that "scrubber" piece wasn't on the mop, and the "replacement" piece doesn't stick, so that is disappointing. What happened to the good old sponge mops that you used for a year and then bought a replacement head? They worked just fine; just showing my age i guess.

Not like they used to be!
We occasionally need to clean off the steel bases of a large number of dining tables in a cafeteria we maintain. The bases are large, round simple discs the single-leg tables set on. They're smooth and painted, with no depressions or holes, so they simply need washing off with a towel or sponge. We use a Quickie brand squeeze mop so that we don't need to be down on our knees (there are a lot of tables). The mop we have originally came with a true sponge-type mop head (not a sea-sponge natural sponge, but with the same type of holes, etc.). It always did an excellent job of the work. When time for a replacement it was quickly found that our model of Quickie mop did not take a readily available mop head, so we had to track it down online. That's fine, but the only ones we found that fit our mop were these. The attachment studs match the original mop perfectly, but Quickie has changed the type of sponge material. It is now more "plastic-y" feeling, and it has very tiny holes throughout (almost like a cosmetic makeup type of sponge). It doesn't "scrub" like the original sponge material, and it doesn't retain liquid as the original did. It gets the job done, but just doesn't clean as well and feels like it takes more downward force on the mop handle to do the work. The picture used for the mop head looks like the original, but what arrives in the order is not what is being shown. Could there have been that much difference in the cost of manufacture that Quickie "had" to make this change? I doubt it; besides these mop heads are not cheap. If you want to keep on using your Quickie squeeze mop, this seems to be the only game in town. It is such a cliche, but "They don't make them like they used to!"

Is a quality sponge. Only one I can find like this. I thru away a brand new Mr. Clean after one use.
Pros: Seems sturdy, good spongeCons: The pole is just stapled to the head and will wobble ( I used JB weld around the gap). Had to use contact cement to attach scrubber to head. Metal pole is 6 inches to short and has a pointed end so not hand friendly. Plastic head with wing nuts will strip out. Price $$$ use to buy like ones for $7.99.

This an excellent replacement head.
I bought my Vileda mop last year. Now I can’t find refills for it. (The quality was not very good - they fall apart.). I bought one of these refills. What a difference! Please stock more of these. They are worth every penny.

Works well even better than the original
The cleaning sponge does an excellent job. I don't know how durable it will be but I like the cleaning thoroughness of the completed job.

Terrible
El mango está doblado. El mango está muy flojo. Solo se adjunta con una grapa. La abertura es demasiado grande para el mango. La tira de enfrente no se quedará. La peor compra a través de Amazon. No puedo creer que una empresa pueda hacer algo tan malo.
