Fantastic product for Benq Projector!! Please read 😁👍🏻
This adaptor works exactly as it should for my Benq th585 projector. It allows me to put the projector right at the back of my single tier vonhaus black glass shelf illiminating any stress on the power cable also due to it being only 4cm in length!. When comparing this adaptor to my original power cable which is almost 7cm before it can be bent this adaptor is just over 3cms shorter. When fitting this adaptor and moving back my projector i gained an extra 4 inches on my projector screen it went from 81" to 85". Its a Well made adaptor, nice and solid and a snug fit. I do have one problem now though which i need to fix and i thought it was worth mentioning and that is the HDMI's. If you have a projector and your aim is the get it as close to the wall as possible, your HDMI's will hit the wall stopping you from moving the projector back that is ofcourse unless you have a full length HDMI cable which you may get away with, depending on how far it is away from the wall. If you have an adaptor like on the new amazon firestick or a roku that has no adaptor at all you will struggle to close the gap between the projector and wall. You can buy alternative quality HDMI extensions however alot of them have thick sheefs on each end of the wire again stopping you from bending the wire into the desired location meaning you end up forcing it thus causing damage to the wire and projector port. So their are four options: Option one: Buy a 90° or 270° small HDMI male to female adaptor and plug your HDMI directly into the bottom of the female port Option two: Buy a wire with the 90° or 270° adapter built into a wire at one end and a female port built into the other end to plug your HDMI wire straight into. Option three: Buy a 90° or 270° adapter built on the end of a FLAT wire and a female end on the other to attach your HDMI too. Option Four: Buy a an extension with a Male HDMI at one end and Female HDMI port at the other end but make sure said wire has no thick rubber or plastic sheef to protect bending the wire at either end because you'll be back to square one like me. I've chose option Three for my application due to the positioning of my power cord which is directly below the HDMI port 🤬 Using this cable with a flat wire will allow me to manipulate it around the power cord without stressing and wires or any ports, my wire will be a 270° option due to the positioning of the projectors HDMI port (upside down port on BenQ). Take a look at the pictures ive added to this review an I hope this has helped you out in some way i do wish this information was available to me before i wasted mass amounts of my money and my time on wires and adaptors that wouldn't work for me 🤣 Thanks for reading this review, if it has helped you out in any way please do give it the thumbs up, Many thanks Louis.

Adapter
Changes direction instead of sticking out no fault with it

Works as expected. Expensive compared to other angled solutions
Expensive. Used in tight space for 15 amp kettle lead plugged into an amp. Most angled kettle leads are horizontal axis rather than vertical like this item.

Good adaptor
These are great if your tv is being fixed closely to the wall and your TV connection is a bit too chunky

Yup. Works just fine.
Affordable and fit-for-purpose. I used this for a 3D printer, allowing it to be tucked more tightly in the corner of a room. Does the job perfectly well.

Perfect solution
Perfect solution for wanting to move my gaming PC closer to a wall. The power cable coming directly from the PSU left a 6” gap from the tower to the wall, this adaptor routed the cable to the right which reduced the gap to just 1” so my setup looks tight. Only small consideration is that the adaptor now crosses the on/off switch which makes a full power off slightly more tricky. If you have a large on off switch this may case an issue.

Useful
Very useful when the space behind the printer is limited
